Immense fireworks blossomed in the sky, their multitude of colors ablaze with dazzling brilliance.
Beauty, captured in an instant, seemed to freeze in time.
"So beautiful," Shen Li lifted her head to watch the sky, ever embraced by Huo Siyu's arms, where she could hear his heartbeat and feel his warmth.
Underneath the grandeur of the fireworks, her heart too appeared to be captured, unfamiliar feelings taking hold.
"If you like it, I can arrange for fireworks like these often," said Huo Siyu, his gaze also drawn upwards to the sky.
He had never found fireworks particularly impressive before; it was Shen Li he thought beautiful.
"No need, this is perfect," smiled Shen Li.
Gazing at the tenderness in Huo Siyu's eyes, she couldn't help but raise her hand and gently trace his brow with her finger.
Her finger lightly followed the contour of his brows and eyes.
