The downpour on Chinese New Year's Eve lasted all night long.
It was originally just overcast, but suddenly, a heavy rain began to pour down.
Shen Li slept very soundly, cuddled in Huo Siyu's arms; even with the lightning and thunder outside, she didn't feel scared at all.
"Good morning."
Shen Li groggily opened her eyes, feeling extremely fatigued, but her mind was like it had an alarm clock set—it just woke up instinctively.
Though Chinese New Year's Eve had passed, today was the first day of the Lunar New Year, and regular families would have activities planned. She didn't know what the Huo Family had arranged and certainly wasn't planning on sleeping until noon.
"Good morning."
Huo Siyu smiled and planted a kiss on Shen Li's still fuzzy face. He said, "You must be exhausted from last night. Sleep a bit more."
"I should get up," Shen Li said spiritedly, although she really did want to sleep more. She smiled and added, "I can make up for it with a nap in the afternoon."
