The expected screams did not occur.
No one emerged from the storage lockers either.
Four pulled out a short sword and slashed at Two.
Two tilted his head to look at the storage lockers, his red eyes flaring as he scanned the row of lockers.

Two withdrew his gaze, concealing the red glow in his eyes.
He looked at Four and said, "Not here."
"Chase!"
Four immediately dashed toward the shattered window.
Standing at the window, he peered outside.
Four happened to see a woman clinging to the window ledge, climbing down toward the lower-level hospital room.
"There she is!"
"She's heading for the lower hospital room!"
Four shouted loudly and jumped out of the hospital room, plunging his short sword into the wall as he slid toward the seventh floor.
Two stayed inside the hospital room without moving.
He had a lingering feeling that something was off.
His eyes glowed red again, scanning the room thoroughly, even inspecting the ceiling of the bathroom.
