"How I survived? Easy I locked most of the power you gave me away...don't touch that," Milo says swatting Xia's hand when she tries to poke at a carefully balanced figure. "What was that for?" Xia protest, rubbing her hand.
"You don't have the right to complain," Milo say typing away on a cheap flip phone. "Excuse me, there's a cute goddess standing in front of you. Shouldn't you be paying attention to her," Xia says.
"Yeah not touching that," Milo says going to his kitchen, "here. As promised alphabet soup," Milo pulls a jar of homemade soup from his cabinet. "I told you I make you some ..." Milo is interrupted by a knock at the door. "Hold this you little imp," Milo says putting the alphabet soup in Xia's hand.
"You know that was fa...ugh!" Milo groans, "fuck." Milo instinctively grabs the knife in his gut to keep it in place as he grabs the assailant and jerks them forward slamming their face into the doorframe with enough force to knock teeth out.
"Who the fuck are you?" Milo growls as the assailant laughs "so you're the most powerful of the three. Wasn't that hard to kill you after..." Milo stops them when he jerks his arm forward hard enough to break the assailant's nose and repeats the process until he goes limp.
"Can't stand rambling" Milo groans as he kicks the person aside and shut the door locking it only to hear a scream from the kitchen.
"What's wrong Xia!" He shouts only to find his microwave in complete disarray with alphabet soup splattered all over the inside of it and the wall opposite of the microwave.
".... Do I even want to know?" He says his panic shifting to irritation. "It was this infernal contraption, Flynn it made my soup so angry it exploded!" Xia shouts.
"Dumbass," Milo says smacking Xia upside the head. "We don't have time to deal with this. We need to go." Milo says as he looks down at the knife in his stomach. "This is going to hurt," he says mentally preparing himself as he jerks the blade free gasping his legs almost giving out. Not able to hesitate he unsealed enough power to heal the wound so it wouldn't be life threatening.
"What happened to you? I thought you humans settled your battles in court now a days," Xia say joking going to poke at the wound only to get her hand slapped "not happening imp," Milo says bluntly.
Looking around Milo used a ring he wore to store everything in a pocket dimension taking less than five minutes to pack his entire apartment away.
"Let's go" he says going to a closet door and using his blood to write a few runes which glow when completed, "this going to be fun," Milo mutters dragging Xia through the random teleportation spell he just used so it's impossible to be followed by anyone who use the spell after them.
*A few minutes later*
"Oh my goddess. I can't believe you took twenty minutes to get ready you twat," Rudy chastises Ruby as they teleport into the middle of the empty apartment.
"Well excuse me if I want to look presentable," she scoffs looking around, "at least I'm not the dumbass who teleported us to the wrong place."
"No. GPS says we're in the right place," Rudy says looking at his phone, "I'll be right back." Teleporting away he returned with Clyde.
"Woah. I have a hunch something bad happened here. And we should check the kitchen" he says looking around the apartment.
Ruby moving slowly goes to the kitchen, "Rudy... there's blood in here..."
