"What kind of ritual are you talking about, dad?!" shouted Reizel who immediately approached Herman after laying Lana down on an old mattress.
Herman didn't even flinch and looked into his son's eyes as if there was no burden at all.
"Reizel, do you know the current condition?" Herman asked so easily.
The question made Reizel even more emotional. "We're in a dangerous situation and you're sacrificing Lana? Your own daughter?!"
Herman sighed. "I only made a contract that makes us recognized by the kalomba king and be given some powerful ability in exchange."
Reizel ran out of patience as there was not a single reason that justified Lana's suffering.
