Gene Token.
The question hung in Marcus' mind for some moments.
How was he supposed to earn the gene token? He didn't know, what he knew was that the system had said he would earn it as quest reward.
But there wasn't any quest with gene token rewards which led to him being in a pinch.
'What could be worse than being in a pinch on a battlefield, what type of monster will this system lure here if I refuse to complete the quest?'
'If it released a beast pheromone from my body to lure a high-grade mutant beast, would we even have any chance of survival?'
Marcus was starting to get into a daze when he heard a roar erupting from the mutant mosquito.
"The fuck... An insect just roar?"
It dropped the limp body of the B rank awakened with invisibility power.
Marcus couldn't even guess if this man was already dead or not.
A little part of him wanted to run.
Another one seemed to be nudging him, telling him to enter into battle mode and fight the beast.
