"You… you took them all out? Already?" Busho asked, his eyes wide as Gray casually leaned against a wall in the meeting room, "I-In one day?!"
"Yup," Gray just smirked at his shocked expression, "Honestly, they were kind of… disappointing."
When Gray heard about the various monsters rebelling on Harro and even more raining down from the sky as they arrived from other planets, he was excited.
Thousands of monsters are coming to conquer the whole planet, and yet all of them are weak?
Deep Sea King had been the strongest monster Gray had found over the past day as he essentially did clean-up duty for the Hero Association, and the sea monster wasn't all that tough or good at fighting. Through the combined might of Gray's squad, Kale's squad - which was just Cabba - and Caulifla, they had cleared out nearly all the monsters on Harro in just a day. There had been some help from some of the S-Class heroes as well, but it seemed that the majority of them on Harro at the moment were pretty weak, with Bang being the strongest.
But I won't complain about getting quick rewards.
Luckily, Kale and Caulifla being in Gray's party did count toward the completion of his quest, so in just one day, he'd gotten some pretty good rewards.

One day of work, and I get enough XP to level up?
That wasn't the only boost he had gotten, as even excluding the skill and perk tokens...
I have a fuckin' insane amount of points now.
Gray hadn't done the exact math, but he knew if he divided his points evenly across his STR, AGI, and END, he'd be closing in on twenty billion power level.
We're only one planet in, and I'm already getting close to King Vegeta level.
He would still be significantly weaker than the Saiyan King even after using the points, and it would probably be smarter to distribute them into other stats like INT and MP, but it was still good progress.
"Yeah! All those gross bastards were weak!" Caulifla huffed in agreement at Gray's words, nodding quickly, "Seriously, you guys needed our help with them? Then you must be super weak! Let's just blow them up!"
Despite Caulifla's words, she had actually been a bit bruised when she arrived back that evening. It wasn't because she'd met a strong monster, but because one of the ones she had fought, 'Bakuzan,' was a martial artist - and not a bad one either. She had beaten him with her pure strength, but it was clear that she still had a lot to learn in terms of actual fighting from Gray.
"No," Gray shot her down again dryly, "Unless you become strong enough to take down King Vegeta on your own, I need allies."
"Wait, you were serious about that?" Caulifla blinked at him, but grinned again, "Badass."
"But she's not wrong," Gray continued bluntly, turning back to Busho, "That old guy seemed pretty strong, but you have some other strong ones, right?"
"Everyone looks weak next to Brother Gray…" Gray blinked as Yen spoke up.
I almost forgot they were there.
Ken's 'Brothers' who had been sent with him, Yen and Len, had so far been doing their best to stay out of the way and just stick near Gray, which was actually perfect.
They'll die from a light breeze on this planet, so they need to stay quiet and a safe distance behind me.
"Of course," Busho nodded at his words, turning to Sekingar, who was sitting further down the table, "Have all the S-Class heroes been recalled?"
"Some of them are unreachable, and we have to assume the worst," Sekingar shook his head slightly, glancing down at a stack of papers in his hand, "We can't contact Blast, but that's not unusual. Tornado of Terror Tatsumaki was attacked but is fine, and won't be returning yet. Silver Fang is on planet, Atomic Samurai just arrived back, Metal Knight, Child Emperor, and King are here. Zombieman and Drive Knight can't be contacted, Pig God is safe but refuses to return, Watchdog Man is here, while Flashy Flash can't be reached. Metal Bat and Superalloy Darkshine are also here. Finally, Demon Cyborg Genos and his sensei, Caped Badly, are unreachable, while Tanktop Master and Puri-Puri Prisoner are… you know."
The 'you know' was referring to both men being treated in the medical facuility at the Hero Association, as Gray had personally beat Tanktop Master's ass while Puri-Puri Prisoner was pretty beat up from his fight with Deep Sea King.
"So, we have eight S-Class heroes here, and ten once Tanktop Master and Puri-Puri Prisoner recover," Busho nodded at his words, "That should be enough for defense. If Atomic Samurai and his disciples were here already, then the initial invasion would've been defendable even without the Saiyan's help."
"No, it wouldn't have been," Gray smirked lightly, "Because we would've been a part of it."
"That's… true," Busho just nodded with a grunt. "Anyway, we need to gather all the higher-ups to figure out what the plan is, and then brief the S-Class heroes about it, as well as send out a notification to all the other heroes."
"A lot of C-Class and B-Class heroes died before the S-Class heroes and Saiyans arrived," Sekingar sighed, leaning his head on his hand as he looked stressed. It was clear that both he and Busho were exhausted from the day's sudden events.
"It'll take a while to recover from this," Busho nodded, glancing at Gray, "We'll set up a place for you guys to stay. We'll need to get more scouting information about the current situation on the other planets, and then within a few weeks we can work on sending some supporting heroes with you to-"
"Not a week," Gray interrupted him bluntly, shaking his head, "Tomorrow."
"T-Tomorrow?" Busho blinked at his words, "We can't possibly be ready by tomorrow! The invasion just started this morning, we need time to gather information and let the S-Class heroes recover!"
"Then we'll just leave without your support," Gray responded bluntly, "I'm not staying on this planet any longer than I need to. I'll just take- wait, my gravity chamber is still here, right?"
The longer we stay, the more time there is for something to go wrong.
And, the more time there was to lose the element of surprise. Gray didn't know how much information the other planets had about them, as they apparently planned their attack around their arrival - which was more than a bit concerning - but they at the very least couldn't be prepared for how strong Gray was when he used his points.
And, hopefully, they wouldn't know about the Saiyan's transformations. Harro had experienced it with a squad that came before, but that didn't mean every planet had, or that they could prepare for how much stronger Gray's squad would be.
The Ozaru form is a multiplier. Even if they fought a weaker Saiyan who transformed, they wouldn't have ever seen anything like me.
The goal was to abuse that fact and finish the mission before any of the monsters could adapt.
It'll be a boss rush for a reason. We'll take advantage of the moon to take down a planet every day.
"Your gravity chamber?" Busho asked confusedly.
"Fubuki," Gray clarified, and Busho just looked even more confused.
"She's still here," He confirmed, "She's helping with the civilian relief in City-G."
"Great, tell her to be here tomorrow, at… sundown?" Gray blinked, "Do you guys call it a sun?"
"Of course, what else would it be called?" Sekingar looked at him like he was stupid.
That wasn't even a dumb question!
"Whatever. Tell her to be here by sundown, and then we'll go," Gray hummed, grinning lightly as he glanced back at his squad. "Tell that hot track girl to come too - Mizuki. We'll make use of the moons and handle the next planet no problem."
"That'll work," Celia nodded along at his words, "If the strength of the monsters here were any indication, we'd be fine even without the transformations. With them, there shouldn't be any real danger. Do you have more detailed intel about Hom?"
Busho nodded at Celia's words, "It's home to a species of monsters who call themselves 'mages.' If you're really planning to leave tomorrow, I'll have a longer brief ready for you guys in the morning."
Gray nodded appreciatively at the man, and Sekingar started counting heads, "Ten, eleven… twelve."
Sekingar picked up his phone again, typing on it rapidly as he called a staff member, "Have twelve rooms set up, and use the same ones we give to S-Class heroes."
Good, I'll at least sleep comfortably tonight.
Gray assumed the top-ranking heroes were living pretty good.
"Eleven," Fasha said abruptly, and Sekingar looked at her curiously, "Eleven rooms. I'm sleeping with Gray."
Damn, she's forward. Not like I'm going to turn her down.
Just because it was a mission didn't mean he couldn't have some fun, right?
"W-What?" Asia squeaked out, her cheeks puffing out at Fasha's words, "T-Ten! Ten rooms! I'm sleeping there too!"
I didn't know she had that in her-
"Nine," Saeko spoke up easily, smirking lightly.
"Alright, this is getting out of hand," Gray deadpanned, "There's no way there's a bed big enough for all of us."
"There better be," Celia spoke up this time, surprising Gray, "Or we'll be pretty cramped."
"'We?'" Gray asked dryly.
"Did… did I miss something?" Asuna muttered, glancing from Fasha to Asia, then to Saeko, and then to Celia, "I… I feel like I'm missing out! I'll be there too!"
"There's definitely not a bed big enough for all of us," Gray said blandly, but Busho spoke up.
"Actually, that can be arranged," He nodded helpfully, "There was a huge bed made for Pig God, but he's not here right now, so it's fine if you use it."
"Yay!" Asia cheered, and Gray glanced around at all the women blankly.
Will… will I survive until tomorrow?
That night, Gray would get very, very, little sleep and would wake up exhausted. Somehow, defeating thousands of monsters wasn't the most tiring thing he did that day.
