"What, what on earth is that..."
Fana murmured to herself as she looked at the scene in the sky.
Just then, dozens, if not hundreds of monsters with double wings on their backs and limbs like humans suddenly emerged from the purple speck in the sky.
Each one was almost as big as an adult rhinoceros, and though they were still some distance from the ground, their overwhelming presence was undiminished.
Fana saw this through her binoculars and immediately felt her soul shiver with terror.
She knew she hadn't been mistaken earlier; hidden within that shadow were truly terrifying monsters.
And now those creatures had clearly broken through their constraints and were spreading out from the purple spot.
"Ah!"
Fana cried out, not caring about her unhealed legs, and scrambled down the stairs, shouting to her parents:
"Dad! Mom! Run! Get to the basement! The monsters are coming!"
