"If you weren't that kind of hero—the kind who fights for everyone—Chacha and I wouldn't have fallen for you in the first place. And because you are... we can't help but love the same amazing guy."
"...I understand!"
At this point, running away wasn't an option.
Midoriya Izuku took a deep breath and made a promise.
"Just... wait a little longer. This will all be over soon."
"And when it is, I'll give you both a real answer."
**Chapter 210: I Want Her Too!**
As night fell, Midoriya spent some time talking with his classmates in Class 1-A.
Even after everything that had happened, they still trusted and supported him.
And in return, he thanked them all, one by one.
But soon, it was time to go.
After saying goodbye to his classmates, Midoriya slipped into the shadows and made his way to the Support Course dorms.
He quietly stopped in front of a door and knocked.
"Midoriya-chan, you finally came~!"
The door opened, revealing Hatsume Mei in her pajamas.
She wasn't surprised at all to see him.
Instead, she just casually invited him inside.
"Sorry for bothering you again."
"What are you saying? Like this is the first time you've troubled me!"
Hatsume Mei crossed her arms and accepted his apology like she fully expected it.
As she turned to walk toward her workbench, she added,
"Next time, give me a heads-up, okay? When something just pops up out of nowhere, it's kinda startling."
"...Sorry."
Midoriya Izuku lowered his head in apology, while Hatsume Mei rummaged through her cabinet.
After a moment, she pulled out a metal sphere.
It was a terrifying weapon, something Midoriya had created—capable of taking out an entire city.
During his battle with Togata Mirio, he had sent the device away before it could be destroyed in the fight.
And the safest person to hold onto it?
Hatsume Mei.
Midoriya had trusted her completely.
The moment he escaped Mirio's pursuit, he had stayed at Class 1-A's dorm until nightfall, then used the darkness as cover to come retrieve his weapon.
"Anyway, thanks a lot. I couldn't have done this without you."
Holding the metal sphere from Hatsume Mei, Midoriya Izuku checked it over and, once satisfied, thanked her before getting ready to leave. He had already spent too much time at U.A. High.
"By the way, Midoriya-chan, you still haven't given that little guy a name, have you?"
"A name?!"
Looking down at the metal sphere in his hand, Midoriya Izuku was momentarily stunned. He hadn't given this weapon an official name yet, but did that really matter?
Seeing through his thoughts, Hatsume Mei crossed her arms and scolded him.
"As a creator, the things you make are like your children. It's your responsibility as their 'father' to give them a proper name."
"Uh... how about 'Hellbringer'?"
"Hmm... sounds a bit strange, but I guess it works. Fine, we'll call it that."
Hatsume Mei reluctantly accepted the name Midoriya had come up with on the spot. Looking at the "Hellbringer" in his hand, he thought back to when he first made it—he never planned to actually use it. In fact, he had even considered asking Hatsume Mei to dismantle it. But once something is created, it always seems to find a purpose.
"Well then, goodbye, Hatsume Mei. Thanks for all your help."
"It's nothing, I'm used to it... If you run into trouble again, don't forget to ask me for help!"
"Yeah, I will!"
With that, Midoriya Izuku disappeared into the dark night, while Hatsume Mei slowly closed the door to her room. She sat back down at her workbench, where a pair of gloves lay—"Reaper's Gloves."
The school had confiscated most of Midoriya's gear, but besides "Hellbringer," Hatsume Mei had also hidden another item—his old gloves. Since their effects were well known, the teachers hadn't looked too closely at them.
"Midoriya-chan, you don't need these anymore, do you…?"
Hatsume Mei ran her fingers over the "Reaper's Gloves." They were one of her proudest creations, but Midoriya Izuku no longer had any use for them.
"Well~~ whatever. I've got more stuff to build tomorrow."
Just like that, Hatsume Mei's attitude flipped. She turned off the lights and climbed into bed. For a girl whose whole heart was in inventing, making new equipment was always the top priority.
"Sorry... Hatsume Mei…"
As he walked away, Midoriya glanced back at the Support Department dorms. If his dream had never been to become a hero, maybe he would have stayed here, working alongside Hatsume Mei, just living as a creator.
But now… Midoriya knew exactly what his duty was and what he had to do. This was the path he had chosen, with no turning back.

The next day, at the "Nighteye Agency," an emergency meeting was held. Togata Mirio, as the one directly involved, explained everything that had happened the day before—his encounter with Midoriya Izuku at U.A. High and their intense fight.
"Let's set everything else aside for now. You're saying Midoriya Izuku went back to U.A. High just to retrieve something he built?"
"Yeah, I confirmed it with 'Power Loader.' The Support Department's records show that there was still one of Midoriya's creations unaccounted for."
After hearing Nighteye's question, Togata Mirio carefully explained everything in detail. The people in the room immediately started discussing among themselves.
Before, no one thought Midoriya Izuku's inventions were that dangerous. But after the battle at the skyscraper—where even All Might and Endeavor had been taken down—both heroes and the police had started taking his creations much more seriously.
"For him to risk sneaking back into U.A. High to retrieve it, this thing must be anything but ordinary."
Nighteye quickly reached a conclusion, and Togata Mirio nodded in agreement. He had experienced Midoriya's tech firsthand—he was taken out instantly the first time, and the second time, his combat ability had been completely drained, leaving him unable to even stand.
Just then, a phone rang at the conference table. It was All Might's. He glanced at the screen, made an apologetic gesture to the group, and picked up the call.
It was from Aizawa Shouta.
"Hello? Aizawa… what's going on?"
After a short conversation, everyone in the room saw All Might's expression change drastically. He hung up after a moment, then slammed his hand down on the table. His face twitched slightly as he took a sharp breath.
Then, in a grave tone, he delivered a terrifying piece of information.
"They've identified what the item is. 'Power Loader' analyzed the Support Department's records of Midoriya Izuku's work. After pressing Hatsume Mei further, they finally got an answer."
"That thing… at its smallest range, it could wipe out an entire city."
"!!"
Everyone in the room was completely stunned.
Was Midoriya Izuku seriously building a nuclear bomb?!
