After a few more minutes of small talk, Lilith finally found a way to excuse herself. She stood up calmly, holding her script, and nodded politely at Krystal.
"I'll go check something on set," she said softly.
Krystal gave her that same charming smile and waved her off like a proud teacher letting her favorite student go play.
Lilith walked away without looking back.
She needed space. Air.
Just five minutes without someone hovering over her.
But she hadn't even taken ten steps before Nina appeared from the other side, full of energy and bouncing like she had a secret.
"There you are!" Nina said, catching up to her. "Lucky you!"
Lilith didn't stop walking.
Nina matched her pace and leaned closer.
"Senior KK likes you!" she said with a grin. "She doesn't talk to anyone that long. She even said you're cute!"
Lilith didn't say anything. Not even a smile.
She kept walking, script still clutched in one hand, her other hand brushing through her hair in a tired motion.
