After walking out of the security office at Technology University, Cheng Zhu ended up with a security guard's jacket in his hands.
And it was the clean, odorless kind, and rather well-fitting at that, which was quite rare.
He tossed the jacket into his car and then drove to the fruit store, casually picking some fruits to take with him to Rose Garden later on.
Upon arriving home, he entered with the fruits only to see Chen Jieyu hand-washing his underwear.
Cheng Zhu had come directly to Rose Garden after a business trip to Tai City and had planned to stay there today, so he brought up his suitcase containing his pajamas, eye mask, and toiletries among other things.
The counselor noticed his return and glanced up, "I saw your suitcase open so I took some things out to wash."
Cheng Zhu, upon hearing this, took a look at the open suitcase. There were no signs of rummaging, just that the dirty underwear and socks from the top layer had been removed.
