CHAPTER START

The night was warm and peaceful and yet…

It rolled over in a flash and dawn came…

The sunlight reflected through his windows, casting a pale reflection on his eyelids. Yuta woke up with a growl, stretching his hands, closing off the curtains that shielded the sunlight.

"My head hurts." He winced in harmony, closing his eyes while dozing off one more time. The battle with him and Fat Gum flashed through his dream repeatedly, causing him to sweat profusely and feverish.

He woke up during noon, his visions were blurry and dark, the lights on his bedroom were switched off and the curtains blocked the sunlight. His head was dizzy, muscles aches a lot and he could feel his bones were still in the process of recovering while in no position to train.

"I've got to wash up first."

His voice was slick, making his way inside the bathroom to wash off the dried sweats that clung onto his body. Yuta flickered the shower on, resting his back on the wall as the water surging out from the shower drifted down through his body.

His mind was occupied by his recent battle, the heroes, cops and villains were out there to get him. "I'll probably be sent to prison if the heroes should identify me," he whispered, glancing at himself through the huge mirror attached to the wall. "I've got to stay low for a while in the process of recovering."

"But what was that power?" He glanced at his hand. "If I remember vividly, I was sure Shigaraki killed me and Stain was unable to harm me with his blades."

The soap on his body washed away as he turned off the shower. He could feel his ribs was terribly hurt before wiping off the water that clung to his body with his white towel. He stepped out from the bathroom, glancing at the world clock seeing it's currently after 1 in the afternoon.

"Shit! I'm hungry." He attached his versaline cream all over his body grabbing a brown pair of hoodies from his wardrobe. Yuta made his way downstairs and approached the refrigerator to grab his meal his mother left there before going to work.

Itadakimasu!

He jammed both hands together before savoring the whole food into his stomach. "I need to buy some meds and fruits." Yuta exited the house covering his face with a black face cap while covering the cap with the hoodie to avoid sunlight.

The streets filled with chatter, the sounds of people walking, the carn horns and the birds chirping. All of these sounds resonated in Yuta's mind. "I should've brought my headset." He hissed.

Glancing at the streets, he could see the cops and heroes patrolling the streets on high alerts. He ensured not to give out any suspicious vibes before diverting into the next street on his right.

The street was engulfed in a vicious odour as his eyes tilted to a body on the floor. The body was burnt, probably the action of someone with a fire quirk. Yuta's stomach growled from the odor, causing the police to react immediately.

"Who's there!" The police tilted his head glancing at a young man whose face was covered in a hoodie who turned to exit. "Freeze!" The police snatched his gun from his waist pointing at Yuta who was about to flee.

"Shit!" Yuta's heart throbbed so fast, feeling like his chest was about to explode. He turned to exit the street after the police had told him to freeze. The unexpected odour and police officer made Yuta hesitate at first which made him suspicious.

*Bam*

He heard gunshots fired into the air while fleeing from the scene as fast as he could. Yuta felt the pain from his ribs piercing his flesh deep within his body. He grunted painfully, trying to flee without using his quirk.

"Stop that kid!"

One of the officers snorted.

"Shit shit shit shit." Yuta grinned, thinking of any possible way to avoid being in battle with any heroes since he's not in any position to play vigilante for a while. The police tried to avoid firing their gun at him since there's no solid evidence if the boy is a civilian who was frightened or a villain.

"Clear the way." The rabbit hero, Miruko, exclaimed as he leaped across the road to refrain the suspected boy on hoodie's.

Yuta's eyes widened in terror when he realized who that person was. "I'm fucked." Yuta skidded back to avoid Miruko's kick. The civilians around the area stopped in their tracks to glance at the sudden incident why the police and heroes were all hooked up to a young boy in his 20s.

The police surrounded Yuta with their guns pointed at him while Miruko was standing right in front of his way which was the only route to escape.

"Hands above your head and take down your hoodie slowly." One of the detectives muttered.

"Alright." Yuta exclaimed slowly, his mind already drifting for ways to make his escape.

"He looks suspicious, Detective Tsukushi." Miruko crouched down, taking her combat stance in case Yuta tried to make a run.

Yuta took a deep breath before taking off his hoodie not to make him suspicious since he was surrounded by the cops and heroes.

He took off the hoodie and the cap. "Done." He said lifting his two hands above his head slowly while keeping his gaze locked on Miruko since she was the most dangerous obstacle on his way right now.

"We'll need you to come with us to the station so we can ask you a few questions." Detective Tsukachi said diligently.

"Do I have to follow you guys to the station first? I mean I didn't do anything." Yuta says, still keeping his gaze at Miruko whose face creeped with a wide smirk.

"We know you didn't do anything but I'll advise you to simply follow instructions or else it will be used against you."

"And what if I don't?" Yuta smirked while sweat started drifting down his brows.

Miruko immediately clenched her fist. "Detective, he's suspicious and I won't let that slide."

"Stand down Miruko. He's got nowhere to go."

"Really?" Yuta barked.

"You shithead!"

Miruko leaped forward at Yuta causing the ground underneath her feet to crack from the impact. The moment her legs were about to collide with Yuta, he crouched down at a decent speed dodging Miruko's attack.

"Ho? You dodged that?" Miruko's smirked, already realizing they'd just fished out someone strong if not a villain then the notorious vigilante.

"Too slow…woman." Yuta taunted leaping backwards to keep himself some distance between him and the rabbit hero.

Yuta was dying in pain within his body, still not fully recovered from his recent battles with Stain, Shigaraki and Fat Gum. He tried his hardest to keep a straight face while calculating his way to escape and not engage in combat with the heroes or less he'll be in a pinch and absolutely lose.

Yuta sighed. "Do you think it's proper for a hero to attack a random civil-" Yuta's eyes widened as he crashed into the nearest building. Blood spurted out his mouth realizing Miruko won't hesitate to take him into custody. "Is that so?" He whispered to himself, sand covering his face leaving his dazzling eyes visible.

Yuta was left with no option but to play his role of being a vigilante in order for him to escape this mess he has gotten into. He walked out from the building, his hoodie torn apart while the cops and heroes felt something different.

"Told ya detective. He's fishy and he's the vigilante on loose." Miruko cracked her neck and fist. "Am I right Mr. 0?"

"That's Mr.0? The vigilante who dealt with the hero killer Stain and Fat Gum?" One of the officers gulped, sweat streaming down his face as he pointed his glock towards Yuta who stood still.

"I never thought I'd be caught like this." Mr.0, the vigilante spoke.

"Surrender now to reduce your sentence or I'll let you taste this hungry fist." Miruko grinned.

"Are you talking to a kid?" Yuta shielded himself with his hands crossed to parry Miruko's attack. "Wide open."

"Huh?" Miruko's mouth spurted blood as she realized she was hit from behind. "A clone?" She grunted painfully. "Is that how you took down Fat Gum?"

"Ask him that." A sand fist erupted from the ground slamming Miruko into the nearby building. 'Time to flee.' Yuta wondered to himself before the sound of gunshot brought him back from his thoughts.

The bullets fired by the cops passed through Yuta's body which made each and everyone of the heroes just wonder what happened.

"What the hell are you?" Miruko walked out from the shattered building she was sent flying to.

"Why don't you find out by yourself." Yuta taunted, his face creeping a villany smile on his sand mask.

WIth a decent speed, Miruko charged at him once more.. until..

Her legs ripped out Yuta's head as sand swirled around his body making him regenerate behind the hero. "See… I told ya!"
