New quest has arrived.Protect Lady Cresta and the people around at all cost. Prevent the cloaked guys from taking anyone away.
"Come!" Cyril shouted as if he was in a battle frenzy. Truly, he was actually in a battle frenzy as even his stance could tell. He stood like an angry ape with the golden staff at the back of his neck ready to battle.
"That's the fourth rank's strength." Ethan heard someone say. Cyril walked towards the seven cloaked guys who came to attack Cresta. The first cloaked guy who dashed forward to strike Cyril got hit by his horizontal swing from his golden staff which sent the guy flying meters away into a wall.
"Black Mist!"
The second cloaked guy said as a dark mist engulfed the whole area including where Cyril, Cresta and Ethan stood as all the remaining six guys ran towards them. "This is no problem." Cyril smirked as he started spinning his golden staff at an incredible speed that it seemed as if there was a invisible around him. Three of the cloaked guys approached Cyril and started attacking him from all sides. Cyril's concentration was now on the three guys who were attacking him that he didn't see the other three guys pass by him to attack Cresta.
"Corrupted Arrow!"

Clang! Clang! Clang!
Ethan moves in and blocked three incoming arrows before the could even reach Cresta. More arrows continued approaching as Ethan also effortlessly blocked all of them. Out of nowhere one of the cloaked guys appeared behind Ethan to take Cresta but...
"Venom Slash!"
Ethan slashed the guy's back who fell immediately after getting poisoned by Ethan's skill. The next person also came in to attack but before he could get to Cresta, Ethan was already behind him as he also fell to the ground. Finally, the black mist cleared up as Cyril had defeated all the three guys who attacked him including the guy with the black mist skill.
Aargh! Aargh!
Ethan heard a child shout out loud as the sound seemed to be going far away from them. Ethan then closed his eyes sending his concentration to the peak as he felt his lumaflux spread across 350meter radius. 250meters behind him one of the cloaked guys had captured a child and was escaping. Ethan waste no time as he dashed in the direction the cloaked guy and the child.

Ethan came back with a little girl at his back and put down the child by the worried mother. "Thank you very much." The mother said in joy with tears as the child also hugged the mother with tears.
Cyril had left the guys who attacked him with a severe fracture in their body or instant death as they came into contact with his spinning golden staff. Two guys got struck in the head and died immediately and the other had fractured rib bones.
"I hope you're safe?" Cyril said after reverting back to his normal self and started inspecting Cresta. "Don't touch me!" Cresta bellowed at him. "Haha, really sorry about that." Cyril said and moved back from her. "I think she should be fine now." Ethan said to himself and walked back to the house.

Amateurish said as a clone of Ethan was formed from the water on which Ethan stood on in his Ethereal Nexus having the same power, skill, weapons and had on the same level as Ethan. It was a special training session called the "Soul training" for Ethan to be able to train in his consciousness instead of physical body. A training session where the user fights himself several times to see his true power in his Ethereal Nexus until he wins to become more stronger.
Though the user didn't have to move the physical bodies to train, it had more efficiency as compares to the physical training. The user could learn from his mistakes his clone does since the clone uses the exact skill as him. And now that Ethan couldn't leave the town his only option was the soul training.
Ethan faced his clone who also held the Eclipsing Fang and the sheathed lightning sword just as Ethan did. Quickly the clone leaned forward and used the phantom pace simultaneously, disappearing and reappearing behind Ethan with its raised Eclipsing Fang to strike. "Not happening." Ethan said as he blocked the first attack with his Eclipsing Fang and attempted striking the clone's ribs.
The clone quickly leaped back and dashed forward almost immediately. Ethan also dashed forward and used the phantoms pace to get behind the clone but before he could slash, the clone stopped abruptly and kicked up at Ethan's face forcing Ethan to evade by jumping backwards. Before Ethan could land on his feet the clone was already behind him and with a kick to Ethan's back went him flying miles away."The fuck! He is stronger than I'm." Ethan lamented as he tumbled on the surface of the water.
Before Ethan could gain balance the clone was already there with its sheathed lightning sword raised.
Slash!
The clone slashed the sheathed lightning sword at Ethan's back killing him instantly.

Ethan revived again and the clone stood in front of him.
"Master, you have a guest." Amatsurai announced as Ethan came out of his Ethereal Nexus only to see the Cresta's maid stand before him."Do you think you can do as you please?" The maid said in an angry tone with a sharp slap to Ethan's face. Ethan just stood without any reaction and asked, "I'm very sorry but can I ask what I've done wrong?" Ethan asked. "So, should you be told to put your life on the life to protect Lady Cresta?" The maid bellowed.
The statement was so sharp that Ethan got confused. He'd protected Cresta when the attackers came and none touched her."But what do you mean?" Ethan asked but got slapped again."Who told you to to leave the guard mission to the war phsyco." The maid questioned angrily."I'm really sorry but I saw him as capable of protecting Lady Cresta." Ethan said politely. "How foolish you're." Ethan heard the voice of a person whose presence he could never forget— the Great elder. "Welcome, great elder."
"I didn't even sense his presence till he talked." Ethan felt chills ran down his spine."You had only one instruction, Guard Cresta." Ethan received a punch at his back from the great elder which sent him flying into one of the thick wood en walls around the house.

Ethan laud on the ground having difficulty in getting up. Almost every bone located around his back got fractured and since the Lightning Metamorphosis skill was at level one, fractured bones were slow to heal. A second later, the great elder stood over him, "The weak shall always get preyed on." He said clearly to Ethan. With the statement from the great elder, Ethan now understood the saying, "Survival of the fittest."
"Tomorrow, the first five ranked of our dynasty will enter the death door and try to get some treasures back. You already know what you're to do." The great elder said and vanished into thin air.
