Chapter 214 - Chapter 214 Killing The Ghosts, Washing The Marine With Blood, And Annihilating The Whole Army

Anyone caught in the shockwave of the space explosion—whether Marine or pirate—vanished in an instant.

It was as if they had been completely vaporized, leaving behind not even the slightest trace of their existence.

This was a large-scale annihilation attack. And for Tokikake—known as "Specter"—using such a move signified his absolute resolve to die alongside his enemies.

He had no intention of letting anyone go.

Whether it was the Nether Pirates or the Marines, it made no difference to him.

This was the very essence of how CP agents operated.

As long as the Nether Pirates could be destroyed, even if every Marine on the island perished in the process, he would not hesitate.

"Space Confinement—release!"

Lucifer's voice rang out in fury.

The power of the Word-Word Fruit surged to its peak, sending ripples of invisible energy sweeping across the entire island.

In an instant, every unexploded black void sphere vanished, while those that had already detonated were frozen in place—suspended mid-destruction.

Then, with a casual flick of his wrist, Lucifer erased all remnants of Tokikake's attack from existence.

As the dust settled, the devastated battlefield came into view.

The once-thriving island was now an apocalyptic wasteland, torn apart beyond recognition.

The damage was catastrophic.

The Nether Pirates had lost tens of thousands of warriors—wiped from existence.

The Whitebeard Pirates and Red Hair Pirates had also suffered tremendous casualties—more than 30,000 of their men were dead.

But the Marines had it the worst.

Nearly half of their remaining forces had been obliterated. More than 80,000 Marine soldiers were gone—erased from reality.

In total, the number of lives lost in Tokikake's final desperate attack had exceeded millions.

"Hahahaha! Lucifer, look at this! This is the fate of evil!"

Tokikake lay in a pool of his own blood, his laughter filled with madness.

His chest was sunken, rising and falling weakly as he struggled to breathe.

He was already critically injured. And after unleashing his full power in that one final attack, his stamina was utterly drained.

Even speaking was now an immense struggle for him.

At this point, any random pirate—no matter how weak—could end his life with a single strike.

Yet, faced with his inevitable death, Tokikake felt no fear.

Instead, he looked proud.

Surveying the battlefield, now reduced to ruin, he felt an overwhelming sense of satisfaction.

In a head-on battle, the Nether Pirates had never suffered such devastating losses.

But now, he alone had managed to wipe out tens of thousands of them.

Had Lucifer not stopped his attack in time, the entire Nether Pirates crew would have been annihilated.

"Lucifer... You may have won today... but mark my words..." Tokikake coughed out blood, his voice weak yet unwavering.

"The World Government will never lose.

"Sooner or later... they will—"

BOOM!

Before Tokikake could finish his sentence, his body suddenly exploded—flesh and blood splattering in all directions.

Lucifer calmly withdrew his outstretched palm, his face devoid of emotion.

He had no patience for meaningless last words.

Ding!

Without sparing another glance at the remains of Tokikake, Lucifer stretched out his hand and effortlessly absorbed the power of the Space-Space Fruit, claiming it as his own.

Then, his figure blurred, transforming into a black shadow, and he shot into the distance.

Whoosh!

In an instant, Lucifer appeared above the retreating Marine forces.

His massive demonic wings flapped ominously, radiating an aura so dark and oppressive that it sent chills down every Marine's spine.

The entire battlefield fell into a stunned silence.

The Marines, still in shock from the previous catastrophe, had not yet recovered. Many were still standing in a daze, unable to comprehend the level of destruction they had just witnessed.

And then—

They saw him.

Lucifer.

The very embodiment of terror itself.

Their faces turned pale. Their bodies trembled.

Then—chaos erupted.

"L-Lucifer!"

"It's him! The demon! The demon is here!"

"Run! Everyone, run for your lives!"

"Retreat! Retreat now!"

"Surrender! I surrender! Please don't kill me!"

"I... I'll pledge loyalty to you! I'll be your servant, your lackey! Just spare me!"

Not every Marine had the will to fight to the bitter end.

Having faced death over and over again, many of them had reached their breaking point.

Their minds and spirits had completely collapsed.

The moment they laid eyes on Lucifer, many of them simply dropped to their knees, begging for mercy.

Lucifer's gaze swept across the pitiful scene before him.

Marines either kneeling in surrender or desperately fleeing in terror.

He remained expressionless.

There was no mercy in his eyes.

Ripples spread through the air.

As if an unseen force had emerged from within Lucifer's very being, it enveloped every single Marine in an instant.

Then—

"Explode."

The whisper of the devil echoed, soft yet absolute.

BOOM!

A monstrous shockwave rippled through the battlefield.

And then—

Bodies burst apart like overripe fruit.

One after another, Marines exploded into showers of flesh and blood, their remains painting the ruined island in a macabre display of carnage.

No one was spared.

Commodores, Rear Admirals, even Vice Admirals—not a single one could withstand Lucifer's power.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

With every heartbeat, thousands more perished.

In mere moments, tens of thousands of Marine soldiers had been completely wiped out.

Not even bones remained.

The battlefield was now nothing more than a grotesque landscape of scattered limbs and pools of blood.

Standing amidst the devastation, Lucifer remained unmoved.

His eyes held no pity, no remorse—only absolute dominance.

To him, this was not a massacre.

This was judgment.

And the weak had no place in his world.

The blood pooled together, forming a river of crimson that flowed into the sea.

A gust of wind swept across the battlefield, carrying the thick stench of blood far and wide.

With a single move, the Marines were completely wiped out!

Between Lucifer's slaughter and the Ghost's suicidal attack, the 200,000 elite Marines who participated in the battle had been utterly annihilated—without a single survivor.

The system's prompt rang continuously in Lucifer's mind, like the most beautiful symphony.

By slaughtering tens of thousands of Marines—including multiple Vice Admirals and Rear Admirals—Lucifer had earned hundreds of thousands of killing points in an instant.

Originally, he had over five million points, but now his total had surged past six million.

"Huh? Where are Kizaru, Aokiji, and Fujitora?"

Lucifer's Observation Haki swept across the battlefield, but he found no trace of the Marine's three Admirals.

"Did they escape?"

Lucifer quickly deduced what had happened.

The Ghost must have secretly teleported them away while unleashing his final, suicidal attack.

On the surface, it had seemed like the Ghost intended to take down everyone on the island, wiping out the Nether Pirates in the process.

But in reality, his true goal had been to save the Marine Admirals.

The World Government, the CP organization, and the Marine forces had all suffered catastrophic losses in this battle.

If all three Admirals had died here as well, the world's balance would have been completely shattered.

So before his death, the Ghost used the last of his strength to teleport the Admirals away.

With the power of his Awakened Space-Space Fruit, he could have transported them thousands of miles in an instant.

Even if Lucifer wanted to pursue them, it would be impossible.

The battlefield fell into a dead silence.

In the distance, the Whitebeard Pirates and Red Hair Pirates stood frozen, their minds blank with shock.

The Nether Pirates were no different.

They gazed up at Lucifer, their expressions filled with awe and terror.

At this moment, he no longer seemed human—he was like a god.

A god of overwhelming power, ruthless and merciless in his killings.

His very presence struck fear into their hearts.

"They're… dead… all of them."

"Hehe… we're next."

"There's no escape. We can't run."

"Forget it… just accept it. We're going to die anyway."

Many pirates began to break down. Some laughed—bitter, hollow laughter filled with despair.

Others simply let go of their weapons and stopped running.

They all understood one thing.

In the face of this man… there was no escape.

Death was inevitable.

Swoosh!

In a flash of lightning, Enel appeared beside Lucifer.

Then came Weevil, Huang Jindi, Pizarro, and the other core members of the Nether Pirates.

Their expressions were grim.

Allowing the Marine Admirals to escape was a frustrating failure—today had been the best chance to eliminate them, yet victory slipped away at the last moment.

Enel frowned. "Captain, what do we do with these pirates?"

"Kill them," Pizarro said coldly.

"They're enemies anyway. It's safest to eliminate them all."

"Exactly," Weevil added. "If you cut the grass but leave the roots, it'll just grow back when spring comes!"

BOOM!

Suddenly, a black shadow plummeted from the sky, crashing at Lucifer's feet.

Lucifer glanced down and saw that it was Marco the Phoenix.

Except now, he was no longer a phoenix—just a broken, defeated man.

His hands and feet were shackled with Seastone chains, completely nullifying his Devil Fruit powers.

He had been captured alive.

Not long after, the captains and officers of the Whitebeard and Red Hair Pirates were also dragged in, one by one.

Diamond Jozu, Flower Sword Vista, Lucky Roux, Yasopp…

The strongest figures from both pirate crews had been defeated and taken alive.

Aside from the weaker captains and commanders who had perished in battle, not a single high-ranking officer had managed to escape.

The Nether Pirates had completely taken control of the battlefield.

The remnants of the Whitebeard and Red Hair Pirates were now trapped.

Using massive icebergs, Cavendish had sealed them inside a massive ice basin, cutting off any chance of escape.

Lying on the ground, Marco squinted up at Lucifer, his expression filled with hatred.

His voice was low and hoarse as he growled:

"Lucifer… kill me."

"We will never surrender."

"That's right, we'd rather die than submit!"

"Even in death, we will never serve you!"

"Want us to surrender? Keep dreaming!"

Jozu, Vista, Lucky Roux, Yasopp, and the others all glared at Lucifer, their eyes burning with endless hatred.

But Lucifer merely smirked—a cruel, chilling smile.

"Don't worry…"

"This war isn't over yet."

"Not by a long shot."
