A series of deafening explosions echoed as Marineford was engulfed in a massive fireball.
Under the towering mushroom cloud, Marineford crumbled, disappearing into nothingness—reduced entirely to dust.
"Yeah hahahaha!"
Waldo put down the cannon and laughed maniacally.
Watching Marineford vanish beneath the waves filled him with uncontrollable excitement.
"As planned—Inuarashi, Nekomamushi, take your men and withdraw. I'll lead a group to Mariejois!"
"Understood."
Inuarashi and Nekomamushi nodded before steering their fleet away from the war-torn sea.
Meanwhile, Waldo took a smaller crew and set sail toward Mariejois.
With Marineford destroyed, the next target was obvious—the Holy Land itself.
Before long, Waldo arrived at the base of the Red Line.
"Oi, wake up—it's time to fly."
With a stomp on the deck, the pirate ship shuddered.
Suddenly, two enormous wings sprouted from its sides.
Flapping rapidly, the ship lifted off the ocean and ascended into the sky.
Like Lucifer's vessel, Waldo's pirate ship had also been awakened by a Ship Spirit.
In addition, it had consumed a Bird-type Devil Fruit, granting it the power of flight.
Upon reaching the top of the Red Line, Waldo didn't rush into Mariejois immediately.
Despite his arrogance, he wasn't a fool.
Even though Mariejois had been significantly weakened, he knew it still concealed dangerous hidden forces.
Not to mention, the Five Elders alone were strong enough to stop him.
Charging in recklessly would be suicide.

The powerful sword energy cleaved through the air, slicing apart the incoming shells.
As the explosions erupted mid-air, the Holy Land was engulfed in a sea of flames.
"Filthy pirate! You dare to attack the Holy Land?! Unforgivable!"
"DIE!"
The attacker was none other than the sword-wielding Five Elder—a master swordsman of the highest caliber.
In his hands, he wielded a demonic blade, rumored to be the First Generation Kitetsu, an incredibly cursed sword.
With a single swing, countless sword slashes tore through the air, cutting down every shell Waldo fired.
Then, the Elder launched a devastating slashing attack aimed straight at Waldo.
BOOM!
Waldo countered with a thunderous punch, shattering the incoming slash.
But he wasn't done yet.
Gathering all his Momo-Momo Fruit power into a single giant cannon, he let out a roar—

With a deafening explosion, a colossal shell—as massive as a meteorite—blasted out from the barrel.
Its target—Mariejois.
After firing the cannon, Waldo didn't linger and immediately turned to leave.
Not long after the pirate ship departed, a massive slash tore through the air, passing over the spot where Waldo had just been.
Then, a deafening explosion erupted in the heart of Mariejois.
Two massive mushroom clouds rose into the sky, their fiery plumes soaring thousands of meters high, piercing the clouds.
The shockwaves spread outward, shattering the ground inch by inch, toppling buildings, and engulfing everything in an inferno of destruction.
In the end, the twin shockwaves surged toward Pangu City at the center—one from the left, the other from the right.
The curly-haired Five Elders and the blond-haired Five Elders appeared simultaneously, unleashing their Armament Haki. Their Haki formed powerful shockwaves, colliding with the incoming explosion and barely managing to hold it back.
When the dust settled, the destruction was clear—Mariejois had been completely reduced to ruins.
Only Pangu City remained standing in the center, while the rest of the Holy Land lay in devastation, not a single intact building left.
Standing atop the roof of Pangu City, the Five Elders looked down at the wasteland beneath them, their expressions dark with fury.
An overwhelming murderous aura erupted from them, distorting the air and making the clouds above tremble and explode.
"Damn the Nether Pirates! They actually dared to invade the Holy Land!"
"Sinners, evil sinners! This crime is unforgivable!"
"What the hell is Marine doing? Didn't Sengoku say they were already at war with the Nether Pirates? How did Waldo appear here?!"
The Five Elders knew that this attack wasn't led by Lucifer, but by Waldo alone.
However, the fact that just one man was capable of completely obliterating Mariejois was utterly shocking to them.
"At least the Celestial Dragons were evacuated beforehand."
The blond-haired Five Elders spoke grimly, his voice cold. "Mariejois can be rebuilt, no matter how many times it is destroyed. As long as we wipe out the Nether Pirates, this price is acceptable."

The Five Elders glared toward the New World, their eyes burning with determination.

If he had been even a moment slower in escaping, the Five Elders would have surely caught up to him.
Looking back at the towering mushroom cloud rising in the distance, Waldo let out a wicked grin, though his heart still ached from exhaustion.
"Just wait, you bastards... This is only the beginning!"
"The next time I come back, I won't let you off so easily!"
A cold gleam flashed in Waldo's eyes as he forcibly suppressed the murderous intent surging within him.
The attack on Mariejois hadn't been an attempt to overthrow the Celestial Dragons or kill the Five Elders—it was meant to annihilate the Holy Land itself, to destroy its symbolic status.
But Waldo knew that once the war in the New World reached its climax, the Nether Pirates would officially declare war on the World Government.
When that time came, it wouldn't be Waldo who was running.
It would be the World Government.
And next time, it wouldn't just be the ordinary buildings of Mariejois that fell.
Even Pangu City would be reduced to rubble.
New World – Desert Island – The Final Battlefield
The island was engulfed in flames and thick smoke. The air reeked of gunpowder and blood, the scent so heavy it made one nauseous.
Surrounded by towering icebergs, the battlefield had formed a natural basin.
Trapped within it were the remaining members of the Whitebeard Pirates and the Red Hair Pirates.
Some pirates desperately tried to break through the encirclement, only to be intercepted by the Nether Pirates guarding the perimeter and mercilessly slaughtered.
High above the battlefield, Lucifer sat atop an iceberg, overlooking the tens of thousands of defeated pirates below as if he were gazing down upon insignificant ants.
"It looks like you've finally run out of strength to struggle, haven't you, Marco?"
Lucifer's gaze shifted to his left, where Marco the Phoenix lay at his feet, bound in seastone chains.
No matter how much he struggled, there was no escape.
