The Ascension stage Metal Spider truly lives up to its name.
Unlike the metal spiders at the Core Formation stage, which have 12-meter-long legs, this one's legs stretch an imposing 20 meters, and its body is colossal, with thick, armored plates gleaming with an eerie metallic sheen that seems almost impervious to ordinary weapons.
Just looking at it conveys the message that it isn't an easy target to cut.
Its segmented exoskeleton pulses faintly with toxic, mist-like energy, veins of glowing blue light tracing intricate patterns across its surface.
It appears to have been decorated with ancient runes, when, in fact, the patterns are merely there to make it even more imposing.
Camilla trails her eyes across its limbs, long and slender yet bristling with sharp barbs, ending in pincers capable of crushing metals.
"That is one hideous yet terrifying spider," Camilla smirked, watching the spider emerge from the thickness of the forest.
