After the half-elves announced that there would be an open competition in a couple of months to select the five best candidates to enter the Flame Tower, many began preparing.
The Flame Tower is a place everyone would want to enter and cultivate flame art if they had the chance. However, for thousands of years, it has been a strict selection by the Lords and the King.
Of course, this means that even if you have the talent but haven't caught the eyes of the King or the Lords, you wouldn't be allowed entry. Those selected are mostly the children of a Lord or their friends.
Most wanted to join, but because of the strict requirements, they couldn't even have a chance to try their luck. However, this year, things are different.
The announcement of the open competition ignited the flames in all those who had given up. This year, they get to try and see if they are destined to enter the Flame Tower.
