Kent and his ladies were led out of the hall by the king. The elders stayed behind to fine-tune some details of their alliance with their new allies, the Bloodvein Tribe.
Kent knew this new alliance would be received in two ways: positively and negatively.
The good would come from people who wanted to meet a new kind of race, one they had never heard of before, but would like to learn about.
Of course, reaching them would be difficult, but knowing people like the Dwarves, who like to expand their markets, they would want to get close to the Bloodvein Tribe, meaning they would also want to get close to the Half-Elves.
That would be beneficial for both parties.
However, the bad would be the demons. After all, they had already tried to kill the Bloodvein Tribe. So they would become angry when they heard of this new development. But who could blame them? They were desperate, and so they chose to become savages.
