I knew it was very adolescent or teenage-y of me to react the way I did but I would be lying to myself if I said I wasn't happy to see his truck come down the road. I had had a great day at work and sold two pairs of boots to a couple.
I had no idea that for every sale you made you received commission. That was just the cherry on the cake and I promised myself even if it was just a hat feather no customer would enter and leave B&B without buying something.
My coworkers were also great and it was nice to know that I was expanding my circle of friends in Miami. They all knew something I didn't and were keen to teach me everything they knew about the area and cool spots I might be interested in.
I knew I had a Night Shift today at the restaurant but for once I truly didn't mind it. A double pay would do me extremely well at the end of this week if I pushed harder. That's why they said if you work hard you play hard.
