(Drakken's POV)
[Two Days Later]
I got up from the bed, stretching a bit, "Oh boy..." I said, "What an eventful night."
I turned to see all three of my women lying in bed, asleep. After the wedding ceremony yesterday, we had a quick feast, enjoying the night with our children. Then, Mya had the boys go to bed and Maegelle made sure that the girls were asleep.
Saera was already clinging to me when I brought her to my bed, and from there, the real fun began. I didn't think that Maegelle would be so willing to partake in a foursome, but that is what happen. My beautiful and sweet Maegelle, so nervous the entire time, but I've made her feel comfortable.
I rubbed my neck, "Hm...." I said as I took a step forward, "We'll see what the future has in store for us."
"Drakken?" I heard Maegelle call out
I turned around, seeing that she sat up and was looking at me with a drowsy face, "What's wrong?"
She rubbed her eye, "Nothing..." She said, "Is it daybreak already? Come back to bed..."
"I am fine." I said, "I have some things to do. Stay in bed if you wish."
She looked to her left, seeing that Saera was sleep, her back facing her. I noticed that my beauty's face had a bit more peaceful look to it, it was more relaxed.
"She's doing better, I suppose." Maegelle said softly, "It was strange.....last night."
"For you." I said with a chuckle, "I didn't think that you'd be so willing."
She blushed, "I....." she said, "I don't know why I accepted it...."
"You're all my wives, so it shouldn't matter." I said, "Anyways, stay in bed. I will go check on the girls."
She crawled out, tucking some of her hair behind her ear, "I'll come with you." She said softly, "I want to see if Vaella is doing okay."
"She's fine." I said as she walked up to me, gently hugging my arm, "You should rest."
She pressed herself against me as she let out a yawn, "I'm okay." She said, "I can go with you. Let us go now..."
I chuckled, "Very well." I said,
"Let's....."

"What a beautiful night." Mya said as she walked into the room, "I am more used to having one more join us, My Lord. But two? Oh my, that was special."
She reached me and kissed my cheek as I sat there in my seat.
"It was a special occasion." I said, "You're all now married to me."
She sat on my lap, "Saera is still feeling tired." She said as she wrapped her arms around me, "Perhaps a Tea would do wonders for her."
"I already told Maegelle to brew her one." I said with a nod, "I don't want her to linger in the bed for too much, it will be detrimental to her. She needs energy, to walk around a bit. I understand that her current affliction won't go away so easily, but a bit of help won't hurt."
"Hm...." She said, "I wanted to ask...."
I looked at her, "What is it?"
"Since we're married..." she said, "That solidifies Riktor's place as Heir, right?"
I nodded, "It does." I said, "Why do you ask? I never intended to change that."
"You know how politics in this world work, My Lord." She said, "It was a rightful concern of mine."
"Those politics bore me." I said, "Succession. My House will be led with strength and power, the Head will know how to lead properly and make the right choices as well as being the strongest. Riktor will be just that."
"He will succeed you only when you wish to not lead House Drakkengard." She said, "That is the case, right?"
"There is something I have to do." I said seriously, "And it will put me out of commission for a little while. In the meantime, House Drakkengard needs to be led by Riktor."
"What is it that you plan to do?" She asked
"To ensure that Grayle, Talis, Ammaria, and the other Draconic Beasts of great destructive powers don't have to overly rely on the Dark Shade, I have to put myself under." I said, "But don't worry about that now. Details will come later."
"I am concerned." She said
"Don't be. Talis is nowhere near complete and Grayle is still slumbering, charging his power." I said, "The ability I used on Sharp Point; it was a test to see if my Calamity was at a proper condition in this world. It is definitely."
"What you did....wasn't that Ammaria?" She asked
"No." I said, "I replicated Ammaria's power, enhanced it with my Calamity, and fired it off. Super condensed lightning that is enhanced by my Calamity fired off like cannons from the sky, it is not an easy thing to pull off. That confirmed that my Calamity is capable of producing the proper fuel....."
"I see...." She said, "And you will do this when?"
"When the time is right." I said as I patted her cheek, "Like I said....Details....."
"Right...." She said
"That is why I married all of you." I said with a slight smile, "To make sure that none of my women are at odds with each other. We'll discuss details on the future of our family later."
"For now, let us enjoy our time."

[The Dark Shade, The Following Day]
I stood in front of the Golden Tree, seeing that its light was illuminating the area more than usual. I felt the pulsating power emanating from it, it was very warm.
I let out a sigh, "Alright...." I said as I took a step forward, "I'm here....."
I placed my hand on it, feeling the power pulsating on my hand, causing slight vibrations. The light on the spot I touched got a bit brighter in response to my presence.
I closed my eyes, "I'm going in...."
I then opened them and pushed my hand through the tree, phasing right into it. Almost immediately, I felt my entire body be sucked into the Dark Shade's plane. At first, there was darkness, followed by the faint glow of swirling light as I felt the creeping cold of the Dark Shade all over me.
I then heard the flapping of wings all around me, seeing some feathers in front of me.
"You're making a mistake...."
I ignored him, not wanting to hear his stupid voice today. Not now, today was a special day. I have to ignore him.
Suddenly, I was in a room illuminated by sunlight coming through the open window. I heard the chirping of birds outside as the smell of fresh sheets filled my nose.
I stood there, looking around, seeing that this was a much more lively version of her room back at the castle.
"Okay....." I said softly as I took a step, "Here I am...."
I then stopped, freezing right in place.
In front of me, sitting on a couch, Daranne was looking right at me with a warm smile. The mere sight of her made me freeze completely. I didn't know how to react, I didn't know what to think of this.
In her arms, a baby was sleeping. The child looked like Sylas when he was born, wrapped in the black and gold blanket I had made for him.
"Hello...." She said softly, "My Lord....."
"Daranne...." I said,
"It's.....it's been a while...."
