Lucas invited all the guests to the building where they hosted Alaric's wedding. He couldn't bring them to the main mansion since there were dozens of them who had gathered.
While Lucas was entertaining the guests, Alaric snuck out and headed to a secluded spot.
He looked around, making sure that no one was nearby.
Earlier, Redden insisted on following him, but Alaric told him not to follow for he would do something private.
Luckily for him, the former Deputy Commander of the Dragon Guards listened to his instructions.

Alaric rubbed his hands, wondering what kind of beast the card would summon.
With great anticipation, he clicked [Yes].
A blinding light flashed in front of him, forcing him to close his eyes.

He suddenly felt a warm breath blowing through his skin, followed by a snorting sound.
