"...Shut up," Kiyono Lin finally couldn't hold on any longer.
She reached out, gently tugging on Dubian Che's sleeve, shifting part of her weight onto him.
Dubian Che adjusted his blazer that had slipped down to his shoulder and said to Chisako, "Can we find somewhere to rest first?"
Chisako looked at Kiyono Lin with a mix of concern and surprise, never expecting someone to be that frail.
"Hmm—" she thought for a moment, "I think the area near the shoe lockers should work!"
The three of them entered the school building, changed into indoor shoes, and paused at the vending machine.
Groups of girls arm in arm passed them by, whispering to each other once they'd gone a safe distance away.
There were also boys chasing and fooling around, purposely speaking loudly in front of Kiyono Lin.
"Do you want anything to drink?" Chisako asked.
"I got it," Dubian Che pulled out the ten-yen coins he had accumulated over time, inserting them one by one into the machine.
