Twenty minutes later, Kael dragged Anna into a dimly lit tent, the faint flicker of a nearby lantern casting shadows that danced against the canvas walls. His eyes burned with an intensity that was both fierce and unsettling, a clear testament to the storm of fury brewing within him. Anna squirmed against his grip, her frustration boiling to the surface as they crossed the threshold.

"Let go of me!" she shouted, her voice echoing defiantly in the confined space as she wrenched her hand free, facing him with an unwavering glare.

"This is where you'll stay until Kael returns," he barked, tension tightening his voice like a coiled spring. "I can't have you roaming around, spreading those ludicrous lies about Sirens. Since you insist on talking, I have no choice but to keep you confined here."
