I parked outside since I wasn't going to spend the night. No point spending the night in a very lonely mansion. Okay maybe not a mansion. But it had a lot of square footage and that's all that mattered.
The fountain looked beautiful though at night. I had never seen it at night. Most times I was so busy with Connor that looking outside was the least of my worries. Now however since I was technically single in my mind I had time to appreciate it. I was going to have a word with my security though.
To call me out in the middle of the night for absolute bullshit was a no-no for me. With a sigh I passed the fountain then put my finger print in the slot to unlock the door. It was pitch black which was odd.
The outside pool lights were normally always on. I had to raise my hands in front of me and feel the area out before I fell and poked my eye out with something sharp. With a sigh I finally found the switch and instantly screamed when I heard a loud "Surprise!"
