[ Chapter III (3): "ALCHEMY CLASS" ]
[ "I didn't got any sleep at all..." ]
Felix groans to himself as the sun rays hit him in the side of his face, not burning at all, but enough to wake him up. His silent alarm clock, one of the reasons why he actually preferred sleeping at his desk than his supposed comfortable bed.
He groans to himself, feeling his body hurt from his sleeping posture. Nothing a good stretch could fix, he then stretched his body before then moving. Not wanting to wake up the peacefully sleeping Knight and his Horse.
The dark circles under his eyes visibly lessening as he had about 3 hours of sleep, enough for his strength to have been recharged, for his stamina to be full.
As he then grabbed his Wand— a bland one without core, or specific wood, before then casting a Cleaning Spell on his classroom, making it presentable for the Students.
The failed molded clay in his desk flatten, mixing together as they then gets thrown about in the trashbin under Felix's desk. As expensive as they are, if pulled out of his inventory and left to harden, then they would be useless no matter how expensive they are. So throwing them away is best choice at the moment.
Cleaning his desk, Felix levitated the books on his desk to the bookshelves right behind the classroom. Except for the one wherein the Knight is using as a pillow, the rest fit snuggly on his shelves.
As then the duster dusted away any and all dust from the shelves. The mop dipping itself, before then moving along to clean the floors. The curtains fixing themselves, as also the chairs and tables straighten up.
Seeing that he doesn't have anything else to do here, he left. His Wand tucked away inside of his clothes, as he locked the classroom, ready to eat something in the Great Hall. Specially before his class starts at 9:00AM exactly.
...
It is now 8:57AM, and his teeth could be seen occasional chewing on some magical cookies that makes one taste different flavors in each bite. He apparently got the booger taste which caused him to frown.
His feet walking from the Library back to his Classroom, as he stretches his legs via walking around Hogwarts. Occasionally seeing some Student or two, which would freak out and run to the Classroom much faster than he ever could, seemingly racing.
Now in a comfortable pace, he turned from one corridor to another and noticed the gazes of his Students waiting for him outside his Classroom— about 44 probably. It means no one overslept, a great thing.
[ "Professor!" ] He waved at them and offered his plate of cookies to them, obviously hating the cookies because of the flavor he just eaten. [ "Hello, Mr. Fischer, here have some sweets." ]
He ate fully the booger flavored cookies before giving the rest to the Students, why? Because it would have been rude not to finish his meal, and also because he doesn't want for any of his Students to suffer that kind of torture. Not even on his worse enemies would he wish that.
[ "Okay class, get in." ] Tapping his Wand on the door, it then released the magical lock he placed inside it, one that no one could see except him, or one that any spell could bypass no matter what they do.
You see, the System has functions, one of them is locking or unlocking any set place he wants locked or unlocked. That's actually how he protects the Students, by not letting any dangerous animals from outside, inside, or the Students inside to go outside.
Pretty powerful skill exclusion to his Headmaster Class, known by the System and him as the Keeper ability, still in Lvl. 1 for reasons. [ "D-don't push one another." ]
He groaned in seeing some of his Students pushing and casting spell on one another, non-harmful, just Tickling Charm that they learnt in class. Before then shoving.
After making sure that every single one of his Students are inside the room, he was about to enter also, but paused. [ "Hmm?" ]
He noticed the number of Students inside the classroom as indicated by the System. It says, 43... Which is a problem because in a minute class is about to start, that is Credits deduction if even one Student is missing.
Shrugging his head, he wonders if he should start class without this one missing Student, or wait for him. [ "Wait!" ] But that seems unnecessary as he noticed the figure of one John Constantine panting from the other side of the corridor.
Funnily so, the kid seems to have some pretty heavy eyebags compared to the usual eyebags that Felix has day-to-day, one that he seems to have less today thanks to being able to sleep 3 hours.
What did the kid do? Stayed up for a week straight? But that would be dumb, he was perfectly fine a day ago...
Did he drank a failed Potion or something? He is after all gifted in that aspect of magic, and it wouldn't be a surprise due to the kid's reckless in wanting to see some quick results. [ "Seems like someone had some great sleep, yeah?" ]
[ "..." ] The blonde haired boy ignored him, as he then ran inside the Classroom, seemingly a millisecond before the time hits exactly 9:00AM. Which is a great thing, meaning, he wouldn't get Credits deducted from his already broke wallet.
[ ALCHEMY CLASS (9:00AM - 11:00AM) START! ]
[ "Okay, class is now in session, every Student is free to shut up and listen." ] Sounds rude, but really it isn't, as he smiles at them. He quickly noticed that some of his Students already noticed the weird anomaly on his table; the sentient Knight, the sentient Horse, and lastly the book about how to properly sleep without a bed.
[ "Professor, t-the Knight is moving!" ] He noticed his Student, Ms. Kiran Singh— a Ravenclaw Student point at his desk, wide-eyed and seemingly in excitement, as the others did so, voicing out their thoughts.
Acting oblivious to this, he glanced at his desk before then looking at his Students, seemingly not the same wavelength at them who's staring at his desk.
[ "That's... That is a book about sleeping properly without a bed, I-I don't understand what seems to be the problem." ] A knowing smile on his face, which contrast with what he is saying, one that his Students quickly caught-on.
[ "This is stupid, are you blind?!" ] John Constantine, a Slytherin Student and part-time panda spoke up.
[ "The h-horse is moving!" ] Bernhard "Buddy" Baker, a Gryffindor Student and most of the time hungry said.
[ "T-the Knight is speaking!" ] Robert "Bobby" Fischer spoke up, a Ravenclaw, before then shoving a lemon tasted cookie to his mouth, wanting to see if he could use the speaking Knight as a chess piece.
He glanced slightly to his side, at his other classmates offering them some of the cookies, [ "Want some?" ] With it quickly disappearing seconds later, leaving only crumbs on the white plate, that plate then levitating seconds later by Felix and placed on his table. [ "Hope the sweets are into your liking, and nice in quickly spotting our today's topic." ]
[ "To be more precise, Ms. Mullein of Slytherin, +3 points in being the first to notice the anomaly." ] He called out and pointed at his Student, one that already has her ink and quill out, as she writes something to her diary, a drawing or some sorts, busy as she not even registered her Professor complimenting her, or giving her and her housemates some house points.
To them that isn't worth anything after all, what could they do with house points other than boasting rights. Which is yes, great in some time, but most of the time is useless, as they focus on the topic at hand; at the sentient minifigure sized Knight and Horse looking at them confused.
[ "Hello, young ones!" ] But quickly got into character, as practiced, waving at the group of gigantic people in their eyes. As they pose in front of them, as fashionably as they both could at that.
[ "These are alchemy products, also known as Clay Golems. Sentient, with life yet none at the same time." ] Felix scoop them up in his single hand, presenting them in front of the class more, for the Students to see. [ "I take offense on that, wizard." ]
[ "Then, I'm sorry." ] He nodded to the Knight which has a little bit of tsundere side of him, before then placing it down to one of the Student's table in front of the class;
[ "Anyone that wants to get a closer look, can go look at them for themselves." ]
He addressed the Students, bedore then moving backwards a little bit, letting more of the Students to circle about on the minifigure sized Knight and Horse, posing gallantly on Mr. Anderson's table. [ "Come one, come all!" ]
[ "As you can see, they have ego for themselves. Like he, a Knight of some unnamed Kingdom that he doesn't remember." ] After talking for a few more minutes about the characteristics of Clay Golems, and in how to create one.
Felix moved and scoop back the Knight and Horse that looks like they didn't want to part with the Students adoration, but that was quickly resolved when Felix spoke again; [ "Mr. Knight here alongside his trusty steed will pose for the class, it'll be your task to create a perfect replica of him in your own." ]
[ "Students are advised that this will be graded, will also be included in your practical exams in Alchemy before winter break." ] In hearing that, some groaned. So he paused mid-sentence, letting his words hang in the air before dropping a bombshell; [ "The top 6 Students in this class will have their clay replica be turned to life, just like Mr. Knight here, and also, uhh- Horse." ]
[ "So, please, do well." ] The Students all seems to stop breathing in hearing that, as no one spoke a single sentence, all staring at their Professor in confusion.
Excuse us, Professor, we all know your badass and could do this and do that. But when had you the ability to turn inanimate objects, into sentient one's with ease?!
[ PLAYER TEACHES STUDENTS ABOUT ALCHEMY; CREDITS GIVEN ACCORDINGLY ]
[ +35 SYSTEM CREDITS ]
[ "P-professor where's the clay?" ] Ms. Mullein seems to be the first ones to spoke up, followed by the others, as in seconds seemingly all Students wants to get in on the action. [ "M-me too, Professor!" ]
Even the tired-looking usually pretty problematic kid, which is John Constantine, master of not listening to others also raises his hands. The heavy round dark circles under his eyes seemingly a stand out compared to his normal, but somewhat eccentric looking classmates.
In seeing this he smiled at them, [ "Everyone seems to be interested, fine then." ] With a flick of his Wand, he opened the drawers of his desk, one wherein he places clay. It doesn't have anything other than his failed creations, but that isn't what matters.
You see, nothing is in there. No usable clay, if there was, then it would have been harden, or not usable by now. No, the desk being opened wasn't visible to the Student's vision, it was just for special effects.
As he then thought of buying things from the System, the shop opening in front of him, one which only he could see, as it then bought more Molding Clay for him, which went in his Inventory, as he constantly pulled them out, materializing inside his desk, as he then casted a spell, causing them to float.
Soft brown molding clay, not grey, but brown. They all divided just enough for the 44 Students to share equally, as they all then floats to their respective tables. Felix only stopped buying when he realized he bought plenty enough for extra, and placed the rest back to his Inventory.
Clapping his hands, he turned to the Knight and Horse, which looks mesmerized by the clays floating, as he then sat in his chair. He then turned to the Students, smiling at them as he officially let the Students to start one task that they think would be easy, but in truth is really-really difficult. [ "Okay, you all have an hour and a half to do this, you can all now start!" ]
