The hum of the Blake Global Holdings private elevator was a stark contrast to the storm brewing in my gut. I adjusted the cuff of my bespoke suit, the expensive fabric doing little to soothe the restless thrum of my wolf beneath my skin.
My mind replayed the scene from that day – the packed hall, the audacity of it all. Since I arrived I heard whispers that Damien had brought his wife, and They are in his office.
Almost immediately I saw Miranda passing so I called her, "Good morning Mr Enzo," she spoke politely head bowing, "Morning Miranda im hearing of a woman in Damiens office who is she." she looked up shocked like I was asking a stupid questions. " well he said she's his luna and I feel the mate bond between them." she whispered. She's a wolf but this is also a work setting packed with humans we can't risk disclosing our species.
