Fear filled everyone's eyes as the neon blue fishes exploded one by one like grenades.
Ansh and Samradh were both in complete shock.
The fishes near them had started to swell up like oversized balloons — just like pufferfish.
Samradh panicked, sweat dripping down his forehead, eyes wide open.
In his mind, thoughts raced:
"Is this how it all ends? How is he even capable of this? How did someone like him get powers like these? Dammit!"
Ansh just stared at the fishes — waiting for them to explode.
Other police officers also took cover inside the containers.
Those who had shields leaned against the container walls and completely covered themselves with them.
Suddenly, amidst the chaos, the sound of someone running echoed in the distance —
But he was so fast that before anyone could even register,
before the fish could explode, a figure appeared in the sky.
Samradh recognized him…
But for the others, he was a new face — one they would never forget.
He landed on one knee, the other foot planted firmly on the ground,
and with one fist, he punched the ground.
The impact was so strong that all the containers, cars, and even people standing nearby lifted a foot into the air.
And all the fishes shot up into the sky —
then came a massive blast mid-air, with neon blue slashes spreading across the sky like an aurora.
It was beautiful, surreal.
Everyone fell back down to the ground.
Fisherman Anna somehow managed to keep his balance —
The rest collapsed from the shock.
What just happened?"
"How did we get thrown into the air?"
Police hiding inside the containers murmured, "What the hell is going on outside?"
Fisherman Anna, still in shock, climbs down from the car.
Billihook comes flying into his hand. He grips its handle tightly.
He stares ahead and growls, "Who are you?"
Samradh and Ansh both look ahead, stunned by the leap that saved them.
Samradh recognizes the figure.
"What the hell is he doing here? I gave him the list of fake gangsters, so why did he come here?"
The sniper sets his laser aim on the mysterious figure.
That person stands still, blood dripping from the same fist he punched the ground with.
He looks directly at Fisherman Anna and says calmly:
"Me? Vikram. But forget that for now."
In the blink of an eye, Vikram moves towards the sniper, breaks the barrel of his KBP VSK-94,
and within three seconds, disarms all the gang members — throwing their guns away one by one.
He walks past Anna and stands in front of him.
Anna is in complete shock. His expression reads like fate has betrayed him.
He stares at Vikram and stammers:
"This… this can't be happening. I'm the only one here with power.
I lost half my gang and even my son. That's why God gave me this power.
I'm the one chosen by the gods. I will rule the world.
This guy… he's just a bump in my road!"
Anna roars and swings Billihook toward Vikram's neck.
"WRAAGHHHHHH!"
But Vikram, without even moving his feet, stops the Billihook with just one finger.
A few drops of blood fall from his fingertip.
Anna, shocked, stares at that finger — then at Vikram.
In Vikram's eyes, golden rings circle his pupils.
With a calm voice, Vikram says,
"Power? I don't think this guy's worth anything.
Without this weapon, he's just a normal human.
Even with it, he's weak."
The entity named Power inside Vikram replies,
"Don't kill him yet. Let him fight. You need at least some real battle experience...
especially before facing the Black Bird."
Anna's rage intensifies.
He clenches his teeth and launches multiple furious attacks at Vikram.
"AHHHH!"
Vikram dodges every strike with incredible speed —
whether it's a neon blue energy slash or a normal attack.
Anna screams,
"Don't mock me! I've lost too much already.
This... this is the one thing I can't afford to lose!"
Vikram responds with a clean punch to Anna's stomach,
sending him flying backward into a container.
The container is completely wrecked from the impact,
and Anna is nearly unconscious.
He drops to both knees and coughs up blood violently.
Kib tries to attack Vikram with his chain whip,
but Vikram grabs the whip mid-air and yanks it —
pulling Kib along with it and slamming him sideways with the whip.
The sniper rushes toward Vikram to punch him,
but Samradh comes sprinting in, grabs the sniper's arm,
and throws him off to the side with force.
Meanwhile, Ansh runs toward Kib and shouts,
"Everyone get out now! Anna is in control,
and none of them have guns!"
Kib gets back on his feet and lashes the whip toward Ansh,
but Ansh skillfully dodges and blocks every strike using his belt like a whip.
Kib closes the distance and lands an uppercut on Ansh.
He prepares to strike again with his whip,
but Ansh ducks low and sweeps his leg.
With his belt, he wraps Kib's legs and throws him to the ground,
snatching the chain whip from Kib's hand in one swift move.
"You were enjoying beating people with this, right?
Now taste your own medicine,"
Ansh growls.
He lashes Kib with the chain whip,
but Kib twists to the side and narrowly dodges.
He stands again and charges at Ansh.
Ansh grips the whip with both hands and spins it around.
As Kib gets close enough to strike,
Ansh suddenly snaps the whip right onto Kib's nose.
The crack is so loud that everyone turns their attention toward them.
Kib's face is instantly covered in blood.
He collapses to the ground, unconscious.
Meanwhile, Samradh and the sniper were locked in intense hand-to-hand combat.
"You should've shot when you had the chance!" the sniper snapped at Samradh.
But Samradh grabbed his arm and delivered a flurry of punches straight to his chest.
"You're lucky I love rules," Samradh growled,
"Or else I would've wiped out your entire gang by now."
He followed with a brutal right hook, then a left hook, then an uppercut.
The sniper couldn't even react —
he collapsed to the ground, completely dazed.
"Wait… wait… stop! I surrender!" the sniper wheezed.
Breathing heavily, Samradh signaled,
"Keep him at gunpoint."
By now, all of Anna's men were under police control —
held at gunpoint.
His trusted right and left-hand men were both down,
and Anna himself was lying unconscious from a single punch.
Vikram stepped forward quietly,
"Wait… is it over?"
Samradh walked up to him with narrowed eyes.
"What the hell are you doing here?
And where did you get those powers?
What's been happening for the past five days ?
Vikram gave a fake smile, brushing off the tension.
"Oh, that… I'll tell you later."
Samradh sighed and turned away.
"Just go home. I'll handle things here.
Your name won't show up in the report."
Vikram blinked in surprise.
"Alright… if you say so."
"Anna… Anna… hey, can you hear me?"
A soft voice whispers near unconscious Anna's ear.
It sounds mysterious—almost childlike—but unusually sweet.
"Who… who is that?"
"It's me… Billihook. Do you remember me?
We've been together since you were little.
You used to trust me so much—
so much that when you were about to die, you thought…
'If I had Billihook with me, I would've sliced everyone's throats.'"
"That blood you spill… when you kill humans…
I love it. Ahhh… that warmth…"
Suddenly, Billihook's tone shifts—still childlike, but now terrifyingly twisted:
"I want Vikram's blood.
Give me your soul.
Let's cut him open together—ahh ha… haha… HAHAHA!"
Anna's heartbeat begins to pound violently—so loud that everyone can hear it.
Vikram, Ansh, Samradh, gangsters, and police officers—all their eyes shift toward him.
Billihook in Anna's hand starts emitting a dark purple aura, and from Anna's wounds, the same dark purple energy begins to leak.
His eyes glow with purple energy, and he growls.
From his throat, a twisted, childlike voice speaks—layered over his own voice, overlapping like a demonic echo.
Anna stands up and roars, both voices fused into one:
"LAST LIFE ATTACKKKKKKKK!!"
He slashes toward Vikram with a dark purple energy blade, traveling at light speed.
Vikram barely dodges—but the slash cuts through seven containers one after another.
The impact is so violent that each one explodes on contact.
Vikram stumbles back:
"Ouch—Power… Power! What the hell just happened to him suddenly?"
Power:
"I don't know, but he looks way more dangerous than before…
I can't feel his presence at all—like a walking corpse is standing in front of us."
Vikram stands back up:
"Great… this just got worse."
He charges at Anna.
Anna also sprints toward Vikram—both moving so fast that normal humans can't even track them.
Anna swings his energy blade at Vikram.
Vikram counters with a punch directly onto the blade—
BOOOOMMMMM!!
