She could have handled this fight if this person was just a human running around with a syringe on his hands but this wasn't. The person who had taken Hans's skin moved in a speed that she couldn't have detected if she wasn't a vampiress, a pureblood at that.
Unlike Cassius, she had never fought before. She never participated in martial arts despite her keen interest in it all because she's a princess. Thus for her fighting prowess, Marissa had nothing but her raw vampiric blood.
Her future in fighting against this man was far too bleak, and although Marissa would have liked to demand for her lover's situation from this fake Hans, she knew she couldn't fight against him, much less demanded for informations. Her only choice was to run away.
