LOGAN'S POV
I stared at her.
Then stared at him.
Then stared back at her.
You've got to be kidding me.
Why?
Why is everything always against me?
Why is every single damn thing in this world determined to piss me off?
I asked myself that, but there was no one to answer. Just the sound of students climbing into the bus behind me and the annoying buzz of my own thoughts. I thought it was already bad enough that I had to share the same seat with him. But no. Life wasn't done ruining my day.
Now they were saying we had to sit tightly together. Like sardines. Like canned tuna. Like two damn chickens stuffed into a plastic bag with no space to flap their wings.
What the actual fuck is happening?
I turned to Ms. Agnes, blinking at her like she had just suggested I marry Tyler and have his babies.
"Do you want us to choke on each other?" I asked, clearly frustrated. "Why the hell would we sit that close?"
