"Roar!" The blue monstrous Lost let out a smaller cry, as if it was shouting "back off."
"Weird," Eye said from behind Emma, he had scratched chin, and gave the Lost an odd look.
"Why is it that this tiny fellow giving of the aura of a Spirit with a level 2 agony?" Eye stated as went in closer to inspect, walking all over all over the yellow flower field that the tiny Lost had been in.
"Roar!" The tiny beast shouted once more, this time even more desperately as it used its humanoid body to stand on its two feet.
It shaky hands had tried to reach over towards Eye. In response he had just kicked it down.
Like it was a bug trying to climb up a mountain that hadn't wanted to be climbed upon.
Grah!
A babyish roar stunned Emma for a moment, it had come from a place not too far away from them.
In her Kushtaka form, Emma searched in the direction it had come from.
Bam!
Emma got sent flying, crashing into trees. A few of Emma's ribs had broken.
Eye stood there a little stunned.
What could have happened? Who could it be?
A ginormous pale humanoid Lost had emerged. It stood taller than the trees, almost as tall as the Gate to the city.
It had no eyes, no nose, it only had a mouth with razor-like fangs, and ears that could ear an ant's footsteps.
Emma coughed up blood due to the pale Lost, was she going to die?
She might.
Emma had only stared at the beast.
"Why had it come to attack me?" A voice similar to her own spoke inside her head, it sounded confused, a bit sad even. This made it ⅔, her Agony had only 1 more chance left for today.
Eye stood there for a moment in awe of the height of the beast, then charged.
Eye understood where this beast had come from and rejoiced that they had found this small beast first.
He punched the beast, and the pale humanoid monster hadn't even moved a muscle.
So, he continued.
Eye's face had suddenly turned into a neutral expression, as if he had found the Lost annoying.
And then he punched.
"How am I supposed to answer that?!" Emma said as her agony asked her question.
All that had happened was that Eye had messed with that baby creature a bit, then boom! That giant monster attacked her.
"Did it come for the flower field? The tiny Lost? Actually wait, that Lost had seemed so weak, but let out a magnificent roar, but that giant only let out a baby's roar. Are they related in some way? And now that I think about those two Lost looks very similar, one blue while the others pale. They must be related!" Emma thought.
Eye punched and punched, the beast itself still hasn't even moved a centimeter for some reason. That was Eye's gift, anything he looked at, as long as it was his own level in terms of ascension. He could freeze it until he ran out of spirituality.
By now the giant beast leg had seemed almost completely broken. Eye had been sweating immensely, he hadn't known how long he could keep this up!
Bang! Grah!
The giant Lost let out a roar of pain from Eye's attack, it had blue liquid coming down from where its eyes are supposed to be. All the lost wanted to do was...
Emma figured it out!
"That Lost had come due to the cries of its baby. It had just wanted to protect its child." Emma shouted. Emma could no longer handle the pain in her Kushtaka form, it had simply been a waste of Spirituality to keep this form up too. Although it was a lot tinier usage compared to her transforming.
Emma was in her own body once again. The pain had suddenly gone.
"I'm healed? How come in Kushtaka's memory this wasn't mentioned at all! This Gift is simply amazing. Although it did take up at least 2x more spirituality then when I had when I transformed. and I already blasted through a 4th of my spirituality. "Emma talked to herself with a sheepy smile. "Let me try something…"
Emma's shape transformed to Kushtaka's Otter-man form.
She was healed in this form too.
Bang!
A giant leg had fallen down; the pale Lost had lost a leg! Emma remembered she had to help Eye out, this Lost might be too much just for him alone.
"Finally. Stupid Lost, now you're definitely dinner." Eye said in a measly voice, he had expended a ton of spirituality just to do this.
Now all he had to do was let his ability off and make it fall.
Bang!
Eye had beat the enormous Lost spirit.
"RAAWR!" The giant Lost cried in agony, its arms had tried to reach a yellow flower bed.
"Wait! Dont kill this Lost! All it wanted to do was save its child." Emma shouted as she finally arrived to Eye.
"I know."
"If we- wait what? Does that mean you won't kill it?" Emma asked as the Pale humanoid Lost grabbed onto something.
The pale Lost had finally done it! It had grabbed its child, who was now embracing its mother. It brings its arms back to bring the child even closer to itself.
"At least let it say goodbye to it! Look at that touching moment between a Mother and child!" Emma said as the beast brang the child even closer.
Gulp!
A loud noise came from the Pale beast as it stuffed down the miniature version of itself, who tried its very best to escape.
"What?!" Emma shouted in disbelief. It is eating its child!
"Shhhh, let it fatten itself up, it would be tastier that why." Eye said in a weak voice.
The pale Lost suddenly looked towards Emma and Eye as it finally ate the tiny Lost completely. It had a smile almost as large as its face.
It must live! It must kill to live! It must eat to live!
This beast had suddenly seemed bulkier to Emma, although it was still missing its leg, Emma thought it could prove a major threat to them.
So she looked towards the Eye. Signaling to him to follow her lead.
And she ran.
Emma wasn't trying to die today! Or any day! Emma would say that she was only doing this because she wanted to save Luna, and she needed to be alive for that. But the truth was, she simply didn't want to die.
And she was A-Okay with that.
