Poseidon, one of the Twelve Olympian Gods of Greek mythology, was the God of the Sea. He was the son of Cronus and Rhea, and the brother of Zeus and Hades. Older than Zeus but younger than Hades, Poseidon played a pivotal role in the overthrow of their father, Cronus, the previous King of the Gods.
After Zeus divided the world, Poseidon became the ruler of the seas and all water bodies, second in power only to Zeus himself.
Poseidon's weapon was originally a fishing trident. After the Titans were defeated, the Cyclopes gifted Zeus the lightning bolt, Poseidon the trident, and Hades the bident. From then on, Poseidon wielded the trident as his signature weapon.
When enraged, Poseidon could summon sea monsters, create massive tidal waves, and cause destructive tsunamis with a single sweep of his trident. His wrath could sink continents and even cause earthquakes, earning him the title "Earth-Shaker." Despite his ferocity, Poseidon also represented the sea's tranquility, as symbolized by his sacred dolphin, which conveyed his gentler nature.
In Greek culture, sailors and fishermen worshipped Poseidon fervently, viewing him as both a protector and a force to be reckoned with. The sacred dolphin appearing in the Aegean Sea with a violent demeanor suggested that its blood might summon Poseidon's Heretic God form.
Paul and the others explained this in detail, outlining their fears. Heretic Gods were interconnected, meaning Poseidon's descent might also attract other deities like Zeus or Hades. This chain reaction would spell disaster beyond imagination. Thus, they had no choice but to rely on Blake and Doni.
"Poseidon, huh? This is quite a big one, better than I expected," Doni said with growing excitement.
"Blake, this battle will also be a significant challenge for you. Poseidon in the ocean is no easy opponent. Honestly, I have no confidence in defeating him at sea," Doni said, his tone playful but serious. His carefree attitude caused the leaders of the other factions to grimace.
Meanwhile, Blake remained calm, his expression steady. "The greater the challenge, the more rewarding the fight. Killing a god with a single swing of the sword would be too dull."
His nonchalant response made everyone's hearts sink. Clearly, Blake had no intention of backing down.
"Lord Blake, how confident are you in winning this battle?" Paul asked with a wry smile.
"Confidence is meaningless to talk about. You'll see the result when it happens," Blake replied calmly.
Hearing this, everyone felt their hearts tighten. They knew the risks of slaying god all too well. They had only asked to seek reassurance, but even that seemed futile.
"Well then, since everything's clear, let's not waste any time. We'll depart tomorrow," Doni said, brimming with excitement as he stood and made the announcement.

Time passed swiftly, and the next day arrived. After comforting Liliana and Yuri, Blake set off on his journey alone.
The others, unwilling to take unnecessary risks, observed the unfolding events through satellite feeds in the meeting room of the Bronze Black Cross.
Facing Poseidon, they dared not approach by plane or watch from nearby. The collateral damage alone could obliterate them, and such a fate would be far too senseless.
Even Doni could do nothing but sit and watch from here. Despite his strength, Doni couldn't fly, and observing the battle from close proximity would also expose him to the aftermath. Furthermore, as a Campione, his presence would likely keep Poseidon on edge, forcing the sea god to reserve some of his strength to monitor him. That would be disadvantageous.
Under their watchful eyes, a luxurious private jet gradually came to a halt, hovering about a hundred meters above the center of the Aegean Sea. Directly below, in the waters, was a massive shadow. From time to time, a huge head would emerge from the surface — the head of a dolphin. However, compared to ordinary dolphins, this one was ridiculously large.
After leisurely enjoying the ride, Blake opened the hatch, letting the sea breeze ruffle his silver hair and clothing.
...
"You can head back now."
Standing at the door, Blake turned to the female pilot and instructed.
"Understood, Lord Blake. Please take care."
Hearing this, the female pilot from the Bronze Black Cross responded hastily.
"Mm."
With a calm nod, Blake stepped out of the cabin, suspended mid-air to the shock of everyone watching. Meanwhile, the plane quickly departed the area.
"Now, it's time to begin."
Blake gazed down at the enormous dolphin below, a golden light flashing in his hand as a magnificent holy sword materialized.
Whoosh—!
In the next moment, Blake subtly rotated his wrist, letting the holy sword draw a dazzling arc through the air, then swung it downward in a single slash.
Splash—!
Rip—!
Instantly, a crescent-shaped slash tore through the sky, slicing through the air and creating turbulence before crashing heavily onto the water's surface. The strike sent waves surging, forming a fan-shaped column of water. The sound of flesh being torn apart echoed loudly!
With a mournful cry, the dolphin's massive body was split in half and floated to the surface. An enormous quantity of blood dyed the sea crimson, creating a chilling scene.
