"A daemon."
Wilson's low voice caught Catherine's attention.
Her hand trembled and she turned to him in shock. "How could this be?" She stood up from the bed, Alaric following.
Wilson was lost in thought.
Earlier.
He had been outside the mansion when his daemon initiated a link with him. His daemon was mostly silent and didn't particularly involve itself in the affairs of the mansion, unless it was something of utmost concern.
'Master, I feel something.'
'What is it?' Wilson paused, asking his daemon through their mental connection.
'I'm sensing an unfamiliar but oddly familiar energy within the mansion. I can feel that it is powerful, but it isn't negative'. His daemon replied.
'Can you locate where it's coming from?' Wilson asked, his brows furrowing.
'It is coming from the master's daughter's room'.
Hearing his daemon's words, Wilson wasted no time and immediately hurried to her room.
