“You heard me,” he sounded dead serious. Layla gulped down the heavy lump that she had been holding for quite some time.

Although there was a high chance that it could be fake, with the way Michael's lips parted and nothing came out, Layla grew anxious, a doubt lingering in her mind.


"Te-Tell me it is fake, Michael." Her voice quivered, but in response, he just lowered his head. Witnessing his act, the document fell from her hand. A million thoughts swirled in her mind, but she couldn't make sense of the situation.
