Chapter 202 - Chapter 202

In the next second, the rune dimmed instantly.

"What?! That's impossible!!!"

Seeing this, the high-level demon's eyes widened in horror, his face twisted in disbelief.

"Did you really think you could trap me?" Finn snorted coldly, stepping forward, closing the distance between him and the high-ranking demon.

"You... don't come any closer!!!"

Panic flooded the demon's face. He felt the suffocating breath of death looming over him.

"Human, don't force me!!!"

The high-level demon roared in desperation.

"Tch."

Finn sneered again, cold and unfazed. His steps didn't halt, and his indifferent eyes stared directly through the demon.

He ignored the threat completely.

"Human, you're courting death!!!"

"Even if I die, I'm dragging you down with me!!!"

The demon screamed. His gaze turned razor sharp.

In the next instant, his body exploded into a cloud of black mist, rushing toward Finn.

BOOM!!!

Finn was struck hard, his body thrown violently backward, crashing into the ground with a dull, heavy thud.

"Tick, tick, tick!!!"

"Human, your strength truly surprised me, but unfortunately, today will be your last!!!"

The high-level demon's form slowly reconstituted itself, looking down at Finn with a grotesque smile. His body was mangled from the earlier fight—multiple bones shattered, barely holding together. He had paid dearly, but Finn had exhausted all his energy. His power was drained and he couldn't summon it again so soon.

"Die!!!"

The demon roared as he raised his skeletal spear, driving it toward Finn.

Unexpectedly, Finn raised his fist, his fingers clenching, and punched the demon, sending him flying.

The move was easy for Finn to pull off. The demon's strength now was nothing to him.

Finn stood up slowly. His body showed no signs of injury; he looked untouched.

Meanwhile, the demon's aura was weakening, his form trembling. He was reaching his breaking point.

"Damn it..."

The demon cursed through clenched teeth. He bit down hard on the tip of his tongue.

In the next second, a bright, dark crimson drop of blood surfaced in his hand, glowing with ominous intensity.

BOOM!!!

As it entered his body, the demon trembled violently, and his form suddenly swelled in size.

"Hahahahaha! Human! This time, I'll tear you to pieces!!!"

"DIE!!!"

He screamed in madness and drove the bone spear directly into Finn's abdomen.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

He kept stabbing wildly. Blood gushed out, but Finn remained still, showing no pain. His face was calm, unaffected.

"Hahahaha! Human, you're already dead!!!"

The demon let out a crazed howl, raising his face to the dark sky.

"Heh..."

Finn let out a cold laugh and slowly closed his eyes.

"Hmm?"

The demon hesitated. Doubt crept into his expression.

Was this human really giving up?

"DIE!!!"

He yanked up on the bone spear.

PSSHH!!!

Blood sprayed everywhere. A length of intestines was pulled out, white and glistening under the crimson light.

Then suddenly—

Finn's body began to blur. It wavered, phasing in and out of sight.

An illusion.

Behind the demon, Finn appeared.

"Tch."

"Your cheap tricks are laughable."

Finn's voice was calm, disdain dripping from every syllable.

"Damn it! I'm going to torture you slowly!!!"

"The more pain you feel, the better I'll sleep!!!"

The demon shrieked. He charged at Finn again, crazed and unrelenting.

"How stupid."

Finn's voice was low and cold. He raised his fist, and an overwhelming surge of violent energy erupted from him.

Even the space around them warped under the pressure, forming distorted wrinkles in the air. The residual energy exploded outward in a shockwave.

In the blink of an eye, Finn's punch connected with the demon's chest, the force behind it catastrophic.

BOOM.

The demon was blown hundreds of meters away. His face twisted in agony, his body smashing into the earth and embedding itself deep.

PUFF!!!

He coughed out a mouthful of blood. His eyes bulged wide in disbelief, his face a mix of fury and desperation.

"What's wrong? Didn't like the taste?"

Finn stepped forward, his face unreadable, eyes sharp.

"You bastard!!!"

"How dare you humiliate me like this!!!"

The demon's roar echoed across the wasteland.

He was a high-ranking demon—to be brought so low by a human? This was blasphemy. This was disgrace.

"I want to humiliate you. So what? What will you do about it?"

Finn's voice was loaded with contempt.

"Human! I'll drag you to hell with me!!!"

The demon finally snapped. He took out a dark red shard—a soulstone fragment, known in demonology as a variant corrupted from fragments of the Bloodstone once used by Ulysses Bloodstone's cultists—and swallowed it.

BOOM!!!

An immense, violent energy burst across the terrain, dark and ancient.

The demon's power surged wildly, his energy level rapidly climbing to a tier near Mephisto's lesser lieutenants in the Hell Dimension.

And still rising.

"Die, mortal!!!"

He leapt into the air, raising his bone spear high with both hands and bringing it down with the intent to cleave Finn in two.

CLANG!!!

Finn caught the weapon with a single hand.

"What?! You... you blocked it?!"

The demon was stunned. His most powerful strike, infused with corrupted essence, was caught bare-handed.

"You've got to be kidding."

Finn glared at him with ridicule.

The demon gritted his teeth and pressed down harder, channeling more corrupted magic into the spear.

Finn's smirk returned. He raised his arms.

BOOM!!!

Lightning exploded into existence around him, crackling across the battlefield.

The entire area was now covered in thunder. Finn's body seemed to shine with godly might.

"Sword of Lightning!"

Finn's expression turned grim. His pupils glowed with violet-blue energy, resembling the divine spark seen in Storm's eyes when she channeled the full force of weather manipulation.

"Die."

In a shout that echoed like thunder itself, lightning fell from the skies in countless streaks, converging into a singular weapon in Finn's hand—the Thunder Sword.

"Thunderfury!"

Finn swung the blade with immense power. The strike carried cataclysmic energy, the likes of which could rival a direct blast from Mjolnir.

RUMBLE!!!

The thunder sword clashed with the bone spear. The impact was deafening, shattering the air itself.

Crackles of lightning and black mist exploded outward. A shockwave engulfed the area, splitting the land, and ripping through the clouds.
