"Well, I'll be going now." Coco announced, smiling at Zaque.
"Have a good day, Coco." The red haired mediator mumbled, watching as she opened the door and walked out.
Zaque waited for Coco to disappear in the distance before he closed the door, turning in his heels and his gaze landing on the three mediators sitting around the table.
The breakfast was quiet and tense after Coco said that she'll go to the main city.
After watching Coco eat in silence and letting them be, they started eating— even though none of them had the appetite to finish their meal, they still ate the food and deep into their hearts, they knew that wasting the vegetables that they couldn't afford before would eat them.
So, they sucked it up and didn't leave anything on their plates.
Now that Coco had left the house, silence befell over them once again and all they could do is stare at the table.
