Tom thought about it and realized it made sense.

Tonight, Robert had taken down several members of the elite Miller Clan. Why would he need a complex plan to deal with these insignificant troublemakers?

Not to mention Robert, even Tom felt confident he could make them scream if he wanted to.

"Why did you suddenly decide to teach them a lesson?" Tom asked.

"Andre told me that on Saturday night, they planned to attack Charlie and Annie in the dormitory."

A flash of anger crossed Tom's face. "They actually dared to bully our people? Aren't they afraid of the consequences?"

"They think that if they're careful enough, we won't find out who did it. Naturally, they're not afraid of retaliation," Robert sneered.

Tom realized these guys were clueless about Robert's methods for extracting information. They probably thought they were safe.

They knew Robert was powerful, but they had no idea just how powerful.

"If we know they're planning to attack our people, there's no reason to be polite," Robert said calmly.

Most people, upon learning about a threat, would first consider defense. But Robert was different. He always believed in taking the initiative and dealing with troublemakers head-on.

That's why he asked Andre to give him the names of the culprits.

"Well... they do deserve a beating," Tom agreed.

Initially, they planned to handle this group of rebels at their convenience, but now, the troublemakers had practically delivered themselves to their door.

Robert and his team felt no guilt about retaliating.

After chatting for a while, Tom became drowsy and went to sleep.

Once Tom was asleep, Robert lay back on his bed and, out of habit, opened the system interface.

During the fight earlier, he had found the system notifications noisy and had muted them. Now, he wanted to see how many merit points he had earned.

He also wanted to check if any new items were available.

[Product 1: Joy Agent 50ml (Unlocked) - 20 Merit Points]

[Product 2: "Basic Alchemy Formula Collection" (Unlocked) - 5000 Merit Points]

[Refresh Countdown: 20 hours, 47 minutes, and 50 seconds]

[Merit Points: 9500]

[Dark Lord Achievement: Not Achieved]

[To be Upgraded: 9500/20000]

Robert's eyes locked on the second item: "Basic Alchemy Formula Collection."

Finally, it was available!

The product description was brief:

["Basic Alchemy Formula Collection": Records all basic potion formulas known in the wizarding world from ancient times to the present, with detailed production processes. (Ranked by system standards)]

Robert was puzzled. If this book only contained basic potion formulas, why was it priced at 5000 merit points?

The "Transfiguration Guide" covered the experiences of all the great Transfiguration masters and was only 1000 merit points.

Why was this one so expensive?

After considering it for a moment, Robert decided to buy it.

Even though it would delay the system upgrade, he wasn't about to pass up this opportunity.

Besides, he was curious about why it cost so much.

After all, he had earned thousands of merit points tonight by defeating several Miller Clan members and a dozen goblins. There were plenty of evil people in the world, which meant he would have no shortage of merit points in the future.

"Purchase the Basic Alchemy Formula Collection..."

After confirming the purchase, his balance dropped from 9500 to 4500 merit points.

Suddenly, Robert felt a weight under his blanket. A book titled "A Tale of Two Cities" had appeared.

The system always disguised its books, and this one was no different. It even came in the simplified version Robert preferred.

With the help of the Eagle Eye Curse, Robert read the book effortlessly in the dark.

He flipped to the table of contents, which began with basic potions like Boil-Cure Potion and Stimulant Potion.

However, as he turned a few more pages and found the Polyjuice Potion, he was stunned.

"Polyjuice Potion is considered basic? How is that possible?"

Robert suddenly understood why this book was so expensive.

The system description had mentioned that potion levels were assessed by system standards.

So, an advanced potion like Polyjuice Potion was just basic according to the system?

Excited, Robert continued to flip through the pages. He even found the Wolfsbane Potion—a formula that hadn't been fully researched yet!

It became clear why the book was worth 5000 merit points. In the system's view, even the most advanced potions in this world were considered basic.

Meanwhile, Annie and Charlie learned from Andre that the Miller Clan planned to attack them.

Initially, they were furious and wanted to fight back.

But Robert suggested striking first...

The entire team agreed with this approach, including the purebloods and Robert's gang.

They planned to take action on the weekend when most students and professors would be at Hogsmeade, leaving Hogwarts practically empty.

By Saturday morning, Robert and his team were gathered in the Room of Requirement, ready for action.

Even the weakest members, Henry and Alphard, had practiced the Disarming Spell for several days under Robert's guidance.

The plan wasn't just for Robert and Tom to handle everything themselves. It was also about building team cohesion and giving the others a chance to improve their skills.

"For beginners like Alphard and Henry, those pureblood first-years are the perfect opponents," Robert said.

Charlie hesitated. "Are you sure it's okay to just block them and start fighting? What if they report us to a professor?"

"Don't worry," Robert said calmly. "If they complain, the head of our house will back us up. And if they really report us... it just means we didn't beat them hard enough! We'll make sure they're too scared to ever do it again."

Charlie looked to Tom, who reassured him, "Have you ever known this guy to be wrong? We've already decided to take the initiative, so don't hesitate now."

Feeling more confident, Charlie joined the others as they prepared to leave.

Annie noticed Robert packing healing potions and asked, "Why bring those? We won't get hurt just dealing with them, right?"

"They're not for us," Robert replied casually. "They're for them."

Annie was confused, but Tom grinned, understanding Robert's plan.

As the group headed out, Annie asked, "Why would we treat their injuries?"

Robert chuckled but didn't answer directly.

Their first target was Abraxas Malfoy, who was practicing flying on the Quidditch field.

They cornered him and his friends, easily disarming and binding them.

After a thorough beating, Abraxas threatened, "You'll regret this! I'll tell my father!"

"Tell him what?" Robert asked, smirking. "You have no proof."

"The bruises on my body are proof!" Abraxas yelled.

Robert took out a healing potion. "This was developed with Professor Slughorn's help. Just one drop heals any skin injury."

Forced to drink the potion, Abraxas and his friends were healed completely.

"Great! Now they have no evidence!" Annie said excitedly.

Robert smiled, "Exactly... and now we can beat them again."

Before Annie could react, the others charged in for round two.

Annie was stunned. "You're a devil!" she exclaimed.

But as the screams continued, she realized... it was actually quite effective.
