"It was a pleasure working with you." Jace shook the shinobi's hand while the rest of his unit moved onto the Oda Empire's transport ship with Qwan Lee. Vana stood next to Jace and was glancing around, probably nervous that they would try to take him back.
"No it was not. Do not lie to me." The shinobi told Jace. Jace shrugged and walked onto the transport. As soon as he and Vana were onboard the ramp closed and the transport began taking off.
The shinobi's comm device began ringing and they answered. "Yes, what is it?" She walked to a corner of the room and removed her helmet.
"So… I heard they left." The manly voice on the other end spoke. "How was it?"
"Father, they just left. How did you already know that? Are you here?" The woman asked in exasperation.
