"Keep up." Zach smiled and nodded, then started walking downstairs. Kevin quickly hid behind the stairs, watching Zach leave the office building. He felt a bit relieved as he could tell from their conversation that Zach and Mia weren't in that kind of relationship. The one with ulterior motives fabricated the school rumors. After all, with a beautiful wife like Daisy Jones, why would Zach be interested in another woman?
Kevin waited for a moment and, seeing that Mia hadn't come downstairs, stepped out from his hiding spot. He was now in a dilemma. If he went to go find Camila, Mia might come over. If she found out about his relationship with Camila, she might completely lose faith in him.
As he hesitated, he heard the sound of high heels from upstairs. He quickly hid again and peeked out, seeing two white, shapely legs descending the stairs. It wasn't Mia but Camila, holding her phone and looking around as if searching for him.
