Twelve shells fell towards the position of the monster, but due to the lack of precise targeting methods, the majority of these shells fell far from the monster, on the distant ground.
The massive explosion lifted a heavy cloud of dust, and the blast overpressure even purged the poisonous fog near the explosion points.
This should have been a magnificent scene akin to a "miracle," but the Archbishop at this moment was extremely anxious.
Why?
Why can't we hit it?
Why can every shell from those Mimic Heretics land accurately on the monster while the shells from my elite Church Protection Army seem like fireworks?
Even though the first round of bombardment was somewhat rushed, it was still carefully aimed and calculated by the Fire Cannon Priest!
The things we can't accomplish, why can those Mimic Heretics do them?
