Chapter 110 - The Grand Show Begins

At that moment, the ground around the Mason Industries Building trembled slightly, reacting to the overwhelming energy gathering at its peak.

Each pulse of that energy throbbed like the beat of a war drum, pounding heavily in everyone's chest.

These twin towers had been secretly remodeled by Gene after the Kree invasion, designed specifically to counter future catastrophic threats.

"Oh my god, what is this?!"

"Is this some hidden superweapon Mason Industries kept secret all this time?"

"Why is all the hair on my body standing on end?!"

"Mason Industries—what the hell have you been hiding from us?!"

Panic erupted as people fled from the vicinity of the Mason Industries Building, overwhelmed by the terrifying energy radiating from it.

The two skyscrapers now resembled two monstrous artillery cannons, their sights locked firmly onto the incoming Planet Devourer.

The moment Gene gave the command, the combined power of two Infinity Stones would explode forth, delivering a devastating blow to the cosmic predator.

Meanwhile, high above the Earth, the Planet Devourer had already opened his massive maw, preparing to swallow the delicious blue planet whole.

"It's time!"

Gene's voice echoed through his neural network.

In an instant, the immense energy gathered at the apex of the Mason Industries Building surged outward—like two colossal, sharpened arrows tearing through the atmosphere.

A brilliant fusion of blue and yellow light illuminated the sky like a second sun.

Over at Avengers Tower, Stark activated their energy weapon as well.

A searing beam of crimson energy burst from the top of the building, lancing upward into the sky.

Three beams of power—blue, yellow, and red—roared out from Earth, all converging on the massive figure in space.

Galactus, lost in fantasies of feasting, never expected such a fierce counterattack.

The yellow and blue beams from Mason Industries struck him first.

"What?!"

His face twisted in disbelief.

He had thought these primitive creatures could offer no more than feeble resistance—but the energy contained within those beams was genuinely terrifying.

Before he could react, the twin beams blasted into him, their energy tearing through his colossal form.

"Arghhh!!"

The infinite energy of the Mind and Space Stones raged across his body like a wildfire, causing unimaginable pain.

Seconds later, the red beam from Avengers Tower struck as well—less powerful than the other two, but still carrying astonishing destructive force.

Under the relentless bombardment, the Galactus's massive form began to collapse.

His energy reserves, diverted to shielding himself, could no longer maintain his titanic size.

Before long, the once-planetary giant shrank down—reduced to a "mere" titan, standing around nine meters tall, radiating raw, condensed fury.

"Sir, energy weapons are starting to overheat," came Skynet's voice through Gene's neural link.

"Cease fire. The real show's about to begin," Gene ordered calmly.

His heart pounded with excitement.

Even though the Galactus had been weakened repeatedly, he was once a true celestial-level powerhouse.

Fighting such an opponent would be a rare and precious opportunity for Gene to sharpen his own strength.

"All of you lowly insects are going to die!"

The Galactus roared in a voice like cracking thunder, furious beyond reason.

He had only meant to devour a primitive world—but somehow, this planet had struck back and actually wounded him.

For a being like him, a Celestial-class entity named Gracris, to be injured by the weapons of a lower civilization—it was a humiliation beyond words.

"Sir, the target is accelerating toward Earth! We're tracking him at full capacity!" Skynet's voice carried a note of urgency.

Now, slimmed down and much more agile, the Galactus blurred into a streak of devastation.

In a single bound, he crossed tens of thousands of kilometers, plunging straight into Earth's atmosphere like a meteor of vengeance.

He would make this planet pay.

"The target has entered Earth's atmosphere. Predicted landing zone: New York," Skynet confirmed.

Fate seemed to be playing a cruel joke on New York.

The city had just repelled the Kree invasion—and now it faced an even greater nightmare: the Galactus himself.

"Look! What's that in the sky?!"

"He's heading toward the Statue of Liberty!"

"What's happening?!"

Terrified citizens stared upwards as a colossal shadow blurred past the clouds, hurtling toward the heart of the city.

BOOM!!

A deafening explosion rocked the Earth.

Galactus crashed down near Manhattan, shattering every glass window within a ten-kilometer radius.

The sheer force of his landing crushed the sea beneath him, causing massive water displacement.

The riverbed cracked open under his weight, forming a colossal crater.

An unstoppable shockwave blasted across the water, birthing monstrous tidal waves.

"Run!!"

"Tsunami!!"

"What the hell is happening?!"

At first, the stunned citizens could barely comprehend the disaster unfolding.

But when the first towering wave surged toward the city, reality crashed down hard.

Screams and cries filled the air.

New York descended into chaos as people scrambled to flee the raging waters.

Tsunamis smashed into skyscrapers, tossing cars around like toys, ripping apart streets and drowning everything in their path.

Meanwhile, deep inside the Mason Industries Building, Gene calmly placed the Space Stone into his specially engineered armor.

Feeling the raw surge of power coursing through him, Gene smiled slightly.

"Now," he whispered, his voice low but electric with anticipation, "the real show is about to begin."
