Chapter 31 - Chapter 31

Aurora didn't even know when or how they ended up at the bar. One moment they were walking, the next—they were inside.

All she knew was that this bar was owned by Soren's aunt. After arguing with Soren for a while, they finally agreed to list her age as 18—even though the goal was to make her seem 21. Her youthful appearance would immediately raise suspicion with the police, even in a world where people tend to live longer.

She still didn't understand the point of using a fake ID when the bar was literally owned by Soren's aunt. It was considered a safe place, especially for first timers—a girls only kind of bar, calm and laid back.

After all, even in the omegaverse, people still had preferences. For example, some men still liked women, and some women preferred men—regardless of whether they were Alphas or Omegas.

But at the same time, same gender relationships were more common here than in traditional hetero pairings. Aurora honestly didn't even know how to describe relationships anymore.

Like—how was she supposed to call something straight when there was a male Omega and a female Alpha... who also had a dick?

"Was that still considered heterosexual?"

She had no idea anymore.

But one thing she did know—Beta pairings were the most frowned upon. Relationships between Betas and Alphas or Omegas got more backlash than same gender ones.

Since Betas didn't have pheromones that worked on Alphas or Omegas, those kinds of couples were extremely rare.

Aurora doesn't understand it at all. In this world, science and technology are far more advanced than in her previous life, which makes it confusing that some people still don't support relationships like that.

After all, both Alphas and Omegas can have their gland suppressors removed, although doing so greatly reduces their life expectancy.

Without them, it's unlikely they would live beyond 100 years. In this world, however, people can live well beyond a normal lifetime thanks to their genetic enhancements and highly advanced scientific technology.

That's why she decided to enter the market herself. For now, she was investing in a potential product—just like she had done in her previous life. She also knows how to code and has a good understanding of marketing, which gives her food brand a strong customer appeal in the restaurant market

She decided to expand the restaurant's business, and her next target was the booming milk tea market.

Milk tea shops were especially popular among students, children, and even adults. The drinks had an addictive quality, making them a consistent source of repeat customers.

Tapping into this trend could not only diversify the restaurant's offerings but also attract a younger, trend conscious crowd—ultimately boosting foot traffic and long term profitability.

However, she needed an investor—someone with strong appeal, but who wouldn't interfere with how she ran the business

And the investor she had in mind was none other than the main character, Hyacinth Chua.

In the novel, even though the plot was cliché, it was clear that Hyacinth had a strong grasp of both the market and how business worked—even from a young age. As far as she knew, Hyacinth was still actively investing, and she had even brought Aurora into some of her ventures. That's how Aurora learned Hyacinth was still involved in investments, even if she didn't yet own a business of her own.

Hyacinth had the traits of a heroic protagonist—someone you could rely on. But her personality came with drawbacks her mood swings and the arrogance she often displayed in the original story.

She had already dropped a hint or two to Hyacinth, and it seemed like she didn't mind the idea.

So tonight, at the bar, she planned to ask her directly.

At the bar counter, the space wasn't too small, but not overly large either. It had a touch of luxury in its design—sleek surfaces and warm lighting that gave it a stylish, inviting feel.

As they approached, they noticed there was no bartender present.

Soren took the initiative and stepped behind the counter. "I'll be the bartender," she said confidently. "I know how to mix drinks."

Sora clapped her hands in excitement. "Wow! Let's try one of your drinks, then!"

The night before, when they had visited the bar during a crowded weekend, Soren hadn't had a chance to show off her skills. Now, with the place quieter, it was the perfect time for her to finally demonstrate what she could do.

Aurora watched them silently, marveling at how advanced technology had become in this world.

If she had transmigrated earlier, she thought, she could've already been rich by now.

Aurora couldn't help but sigh. She glanced over at the counter where Soren and Sora were playfully messing around. Meanwhile, Hyacinth Chua was already drinking. Youth, she thought with a small shake of her head.

Hyacinth, who had been zoning out for a while, suddenly looked at Aurora and the others. An idea lit up in her eyes—something to distract herself, even just for a little while.

"Guys... should we try something?" she asked with a mischievous smile.

"Try what?" Sora asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Hmm... maybe sing a bit on stage. You know, like a band?"
