Chapter 237 - Chapter 234: To cheat

Next to the massive energy pillar of the Dragon Vein, the air—calm just a second ago—twisted and began to collapse inward.

A black hole opened in its place.

With a casual hop, Sakiya stepped out of the swirling void. She glanced lazily at the Dragon Vein, then snapped her fingers.

Hum—

Magic circles and intricate symbols instantly expanded, covering the entire Dragon Vein structure.

In the next second—space quaked.

The Dragon Vein flickered and vanished like a snuffed-out flame. The glowing energy beam disappeared completely, leaving behind a massive abyss.

Hovering over the entrance was Sakiya's sealing circle—like a lid locking down the source, wedged perfectly into the void.

With a tired expression, she traced a circle with her fingertip. A time-space portal spun open in front of her, revealing the familiar streets of Konoha on the other side.

"Ugh… what a boring little adventure."

Without another word, she stepped through and landed on Konoha's main street.

The townspeople, startled at first by a portal appearing out of nowhere, quickly relaxed the moment they recognized her.

"Oh… it's just her again."

"Ah, that explains it."

Everyone knew Sakiya by now. Her eccentric, overpowered antics were basically local tradition. At first, they were shocked. These days, they barely blinked.

Unless, of course, she really pushed it.

---

Tsunade didn't even question how fast Sakiya completed her mission. After all, if she hadn't finished, someone would've complained by now.

Over the next month, Sakiya spent time with her family, occasionally showing up at their shop as the resident mascot. Other times, she went off on wild adventures with Nanako.

Soon, it was time for the Chunin Exam finals.

One-on-one matches.

No Naruto vs. Sasuke this time—nothing exciting there—but Sakiya still showed up with her family, more for the fun of it than anything else.

And just like that, the ninja world carried on, calm and stable.

---

One year later, Black Zetsu—who had somehow survived—was casually eliminated by Sakiya.

During another wild trip with Nanako, she spotted him… and wiped him out without a second thought.

---

Two years later, Kakashi was officially named Hokage.

The world continued to evolve, though now nations competed less with weapons and more with economy, science, and tech. Konoha led the way—thanks largely to Sakiya.

Under her influence, chakra-based science began to thrive. You could call it magic and tech, but officially, it was about merging chakra and modern innovation.

The key to this progress? Sealing techniques.

Seals opened the door to limitless possibilities and became the foundation for merging chakra with high-tech systems.

Some of the standout inventions of this new era included:

Death Annihilation Cannon

Midnight Gate Portal

Heartlink Device

(Yeah… Sakiya named most of them.)

To put it simply—they were weapons.

The Death Annihilation Cannon used principles similar to the Tailed Beast Bomb. It compressed and concentrated immense chakra into one shot—capable of leveling entire nations from a distance.

Targeting was handled via the Apostle Beacon, also Sakiya's creation.

Power came from the chakra battery, another joint invention between Sakiya and Konoha's science division. These batteries functioned similarly to Tsunade's Yin Seal—users could store chakra inside and recharge over time.

Even better? Some batteries could pull energy straight from the environment using specialized sealing techniques, converting natural energy into usable power.

When powered by pure nature energy, the Chakra Annihilation Cannon's blast rivaled—and even surpassed—the strength of a full Tailed Beast.

Maybe even a Ten-Tails level threat.

And yes—those nature-absorbing seal techniques? Designed by none other than Sakiya.

Easy work, really.

With the introduction of the Annihilation Cannon, Konoha truly broke away from dependence on Sakiya and stepped into real global dominance.

The other four nations finally put aside their petty schemes and began focusing on peaceful economic development.

There was also one small initiative—proposed by Sakiya and implemented by Konoha—that had a huge impact: mandatory ID cards for all alliance members.

These ID cards were another invention by Sakiya and Konoha's science division. The effects spoke for themselves.

Konoha's barrier system had been upgraded to such a degree that even a fly couldn't enter without being recognized. The ID cards worked in tandem with the system, allowing instant identification of any individual within range. If a spy—or even someone from the Ōtsutsuki clan—tried to infiltrate, they'd be flagged immediately.

This single invention helped unify the world more than any alliance treaty ever could.

With most of the world's power centers now aligned, the global alliance had never been stronger. If the Ōtsutsuki ever returned, the nations believed they could stand against them—even without Sakiya—using chakra-based technology alone.

Sakiya's House

Sakiya lay on the couch, holding a handheld console, absorbed in a pixelated little game.

Nanako passed by in her casual clothes, holding a scroll. Sakiya glanced at her, then turned back to the game.

Nanako walked over, grinning. Without warning, she jumped on top of her sister, snuggling up against her and leaning over to peek at the screen.

"Sis, sis! That advanced human technique you gave me—I finally mastered it!"

Still focused on the game, Sakiya watched as her in-game character delivered the final slash to a giant dragon boss.

"Oh~ nice job, Nanako."

"That's way too half-hearted!"

Nanako bumped her forehead gently against her sister's.

Sakiya, flatly: "Ow~"

"Liar!"

Sakiya didn't reply, just kept playing.

Nanako was eight now, and already nearly as tall as her sister. Meanwhile, Sakiya herself seemed frozen in time—stuck at 1.59 meters for what felt like forever.

It was as if her height refused to budge, and despite being technically "average," her petite build made her seem smaller than she was.

Plenty of girls are shorter, she reassured herself.

Nanako, seeing her sister immersed in the game, quietly waited.

Finally, Sakiya slayed the last dragon, and the screen flashed Victory. Loot spilled everywhere.

She dropped the console and let her head fall dramatically back on the couch.

"Ugh... so boring. Nanako..."

Nanako blinked. She'd noticed it too—Sakiya had seemed a bit like a slacker lately. That spark she used to have wasn't shining quite as bright.

"Sis, have you been... kinda off lately?"

Sakiya stretched, then suddenly sat up.

Nanako quickly moved aside as her sister rose to her feet and faced her seriously.

"Nanako! We're going to protect peace across the dimensions!"

"Eh?"

Nanako blinked. "You mean... another adventure?"

Sakiya shook her head solemnly. "No. A journey to another world! To preserve dimensional balance!"

Nanako scratched her head. "When do we come back?"

"Whenever we feel like it!"

Nanako hesitated, then nodded with a smile. "Alright! I'm coming too, sis!"

"Yes! And I'll go by the name Dark Emperor!"

Sakiya had made up her mind. The past two years had been a little too peaceful.

It was time to explore other worlds. Time to bring the chaos somewhere else.

---

Over the past few years, after analyzing the dragon veins with the Eye of Origin, Sakiya had gained the ability to peer into parallel universes and alternate dimensions.

And with her current level of power, traveling between worlds was practically effortless.

Without warning, she grabbed Nanako's hand and sprinted toward Ino's house.

When Ino opened the door, confused by the sudden visit, Sakiya announced with complete seriousness:

"Ino! Come with us. We're going to keep peace in the dimensional world!"

Ino blinked, caught completely off guard. "Huh? Wait—what?"

"You heard me."

"But... why are you telling me this out of nowhere?"

Sakiya said nothing more. She simply stood there, staring at Ino with a rare and intense expression.

"…Are you coming?" she asked again.

That look on Sakiya's face—it was the kind of serious she hadn't shown in years. It made Ino feel a little uneasy. But after thinking about it, she realized she didn't really have anything else going on right now.

"Well... sure. I guess we can go have some fun."

Sakiya grinned, just a bit too mischievously.

"Perfect."

That smile sent a chill down Ino's spine.

Before long, Sakiya brought Nanako and Ino to her hidden base.

The room was packed with glowing circles, strange symbols, and cutting-edge tech.

Even in her downtime, Sakiya kept herself busy—constantly exchanging ideas with the Science Division. With her enhanced mind and the Eye of Origin, she could now break down and understand almost anything. For her, learning had become second nature.

Nanako and Ino stepped inside the lab for the first time, both immediately taken aback.

"This is your secret lab, sis?"

"So this is where all of Sakiya's inventions come from?"

They weren't exaggerating. Even the game console Sakiya had been playing earlier was something she built herself.

But she didn't respond to either of them. Instead, she turned, her voice steady and clear:

"Are you ready?"

"Huh?" they both said at once.

"Ready for what?"

"…Aren't we supposed to be saving peace across the dimensional worlds or something?"

Sakiya didn't answer. She just repeated herself, looking them both in the eyes:

"Are you ready?"

Nanako and Ino looked at each other, confused but curious.

"Then... are we really doing this?" Nanako asked.

With sudden determination, she nodded. "I'm ready!"

Sakiya smiled, and a red light flickered in her right eye. She raised her hands as though holding up the world.

"Then follow me—let's travel to another world!"

In that moment, glowing circles spread across the room, bathing everything in shifting rainbow colors.

Nanako and Ino stood frozen in awe.

Then the light exploded into brilliance. Everything went white.

They instinctively shielded their eyes, and the next thing they felt was the strange weightlessness of shifting space. The world around them blurred, then turned translucent. They were being transported—quietly, seamlessly—through dimensions.

Soon, the white light faded, replaced by the sound of voices and footsteps.

The buzz of a busy street.

Slowly, Nanako and Ino opened their eyes.

They found themselves standing on a bustling avenue. People walked past in every direction. Steel-and-stone buildings towered on both sides, and flowerbeds, streetlights, and signs lined the sidewalks.

The place was alive and modern—yet completely unfamiliar.

Nanako's eyes lit up. "Whoa! What country is this?"

Ino was equally amazed. "It's almost as advanced as Konoha... Sakiya, where are we?"

They still assumed they were somewhere in their own world. After all, Sakiya had created the portal—maybe it was just a shortcut to another city?

But Sakiya only gave them a knowing smile, lowering her head slightly.

"Hehe... This is a different world."

"I told you, didn't I? We're here to help maintain peace across the dimensional worlds."

Nanako just tilted her head. She didn't really believe it—her sister was powerful, sure, but opening a portal to another dimension?

Ino raised an eyebrow. "Another world? Come on, you're joking, right?"

Still, she played along. "Okay, so... what's the first step?"

Nanako joined in, half-serious. "Yeah, where's the big villain we're supposed to stop?"

Sakiya shook her head and held up one finger. "First—we need ID cards. We can't move around here without a legal identity."

"In this world, too?" Ino asked, confused. "Is this place part of the alliance? I've never even heard of it."

Without answering, Sakiya turned and led them toward a building marked as a Civil Affairs Bureau.

As they walked, Nanako and Ino noticed something strange: no one around them seemed to see them.

They were invisible to the passersby.

They started to question it, but when they turned to Sakiya, she gave them a cryptic smile. That was enough to make them stop asking—for now.

"Alright," Ino muttered. "Guess we're starting the adventure."

"Wait…" Nanako suddenly remembered something. "Don't we already have ID cards?"

"You're not... forging new ones, are you?"

Full of questions, they followed Sakiya, eventually disappearing down the street.

...

Back where they had appeared, a small girl with two horns and a white dress styled like a cosplay outfit appeared. A fluffy tail peeked from behind her.

She sniffed the air. "Hmm... space fluctuation. Was that Thor?"

...

In a dimly lit room elsewhere, another girl sat beside a computer, polishing a glowing ring with a towel. Her gaze locked on the point where Sakiya had crossed over.

She muttered, half to herself, "Someone's here..."
