After Lucille left, Ning turned to Jax. "Let's go see this Wine Hermit. I want to purchase something myself. Let's see if I can get a quest myself."
Jax and Ning arrived at the Wine Hermit's shop, where Jax first sold all the items he had gathered that day.
"Oh!" the child-like voice shouted in excitement. "You've brought me the Gorgon's eyes. I haven't had one in a few months. Thank you, young man."
"You're welcome," Jax said.
Ning looked at the person behind the screen. "Are you a child?" he asked.
Jax's eyes widened at the question. He hadn't seen anyone ask that to a hermit directly. Everyone questioned these things to themselves and with others in private, but no one dared do it in their presence.
"What makes you say that, young man?" the Wine Hermit asked.
"Your voice," Ning said.
"Hahaha!" the hermit laughed. "I may sound young, but trust me, I am much older than you can ever imagine"
Ning chuckled along. "You will find that I can imagine so much more."
