Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: Lost!

Chapter 47: Lost!

These guys are all crazy, and Yang Bo doesn't want to antagonize them. Moreover, Yang Bo suspects that they have infiltrated the military, and if they really take control of the fleet, there will be big trouble.

"First, I'll level up in the game to improve my strength. Once houses can be traded, I'll take a look at my own blade mecha—I haven't even had a proper look at it yet." Yang Bo had no choice but to proceed. He found out that residents could leave the planet, but they needed special seats, which were only available on private spaceships.

Yang Bo entered the game and decided to start by leveling up his disguise. Could he eventually transform into a completely different person?

Under the threat of the Red Count, Liu Zijie was cursing while watching.

An Zhiye Company, on the surface, operates under a subsidiary model, but in reality, it's a brokerage model. That is, the more people Liu Zijie has under his control, the larger the territory the headquarters grants him.

The Red Count's extremist organization's rhetoric has everyone on edge. The key issue is that the planet has extended its lockdown, and many powerful individuals want to leave, but it's complicated. Private spaceships can be permitted, but the application and review process is too cumbersome.

Moreover, these individuals haven't disposed of their assets yet and are unwilling to leave.

Liu Zhijie is frustrated because the company cannot operate normally, he is about to lose a significant amount of money, and recruiting new employees is not going smoothly. The residents seem indifferent to the Red Count's threats?

The company has no tasks, and his subordinates are also anxious. Everything requires money.

"Damn it, if this doesn't work, we'll apply to move to another location. This place is no good." Liu Zhijie directly asked headquarters if there were any other planets with available space, intending to relocate.

It wasn't just Liu Zhijie; many companies were preparing to move. The Red Earl had lost a key commander here and sought revenge. What if it happened again? The Red Earl's followers were madmen; everyone would die.

Yang Bo, the unlucky one, was still planning to buy a house, but he had entered the game.

"Where should we go?" Yang Bo looked at the base's information. The lake area was out of the question—he had killed the enemy there. The bat area was also out of the question—he had killed the enemy there too.

"Let's go to the underground entrance." Yang Bo recalled being overwhelmed by remote mechs during training and felt uneasy about open areas.

The underground entrance leads to the game world or the entrance to underground cave systems on the planet. That's the territory of mutated beasts and mutants.

Yang Bo brought four miniature hydrogen bombs and four shockwave bombs. He planned to carry at least two miniature hydrogen bombs on him at all times, as suicide bombs.

In the confined underground environment, if he encountered a troublesome foe, he could always go down with them.

"Too bad I don't have the money."

"If I had money, I'd strap myself with mini hydrogen bombs and charge straight into the mutants' lair."

"Hehe." Yang Bo was feeling pretty good as he hurried along, daydreaming.

The mutants' lair was well-hidden; no one knew about it, otherwise the railgun would have fired directly.

Upon arriving at the underground entrance, Yang Bo couldn't help but marvel—this was where he would make his fortune. This time, the main goal was to establish a cover.

Upon entering the underground entrance, Yang Bo still planned to stay on the first level and absolutely avoid the second level.

Looking at the narrow underground passage and the bombs strapped to his body, Yang Bo had an idea. He placed the energy shield from his mecha's left hand on his back, then pulled out a miniature hydrogen bomb and his right-hand plasma sword.

He was ready to throw the hydrogen bomb and make a run for it at any moment.

He began exploring slowly, intending to first establish a base and find larger animals.

What Yang Bo didn't know was that shortly after leaving the base, he had already been targeted by the mutants. The bounty offered by Tiger Face King was quite tempting, and since Yang Bo hadn't emerged recently, Tiger Face King's subordinates were growing impatient.

The underground passages were interconnected. Tiger Face King's subordinates spotted Yang Bo entering the underground entrance from a distance and hurried back to report it.

Upon receiving the news, Tiger Face King relayed it down the chain of command, prompting many mutants to set off through the underground passages.

However, they misjudged one thing: they assumed Yang Bo was on the second level or below, since the first level was empty.

Yang Bo realized he was lost. The radar wasn't working well in the underground passages, and Yang Bo had been a bit careless, since he was used to relying on the radar.

The further he went, the more off it felt. He tried to look back for traces of the mecha's footsteps, but some areas were flooded.

Boom! Suddenly, a loud explosion startled Yang Bo, causing the ground to shake and small animals to scatter in all directions.

"What caused the explosion?" Yang Bo was still puzzled about what kind of explosion it was.

It turned out that the mechs on the second and third levels below had encountered the Tiger-faced King's subordinates, who were searching for Yang Bo and had clashed with the mechs.

Yang Bo hesitated for a moment, then quickly ran in the opposite direction of the explosion. He didn't want to get caught in the crossfire, nor did he want to damage his mech—repairing it would cost a fortune.

  Boom!

Another explosion followed in the same direction, causing the ground to shake. Yang Bo felt relieved, though he didn't know what had caused it, but it certainly wasn't good news.

Yang Bo deliberately walked through areas with water to cover his tracks, but he ended up completely lost. He saw what looked like a large passageway, but as he walked further, he couldn't proceed any further.

  Boom!

"The eighth time. Who's so unlucky? Are they still hunting some powerful mutated beast?" Yang Bo heard another loud noise. Underground, sounds traveled very far.

"Huh?" Suddenly, Yang Bo's eyes lit up. There was a sinkhole, but that wasn't important.

The sinkhole was shrouded in mist, and below, in the jungle, there were herds of wild cattle. These cattle looked similar to the ones he had seen before, but they had no horns.

Yang Bo zoomed in and noticed that their horns seemed to have been sawed off.

"Could they be raised by mutants?" Yang Bo scanned the area with his radar, then turned it off and studied the data from the radar.

"One thousand two hundred and twenty-one." Yang Bo looked at the data, his mouth watering. These wild buffalo must have enhanced physical abilities. If he killed them all, could he become as strong as Superman?

"But I didn't see any mutants." Yang Bo examined the sinkhole closely. It had a diameter of about 80 kilometers, and its depth was unknown—he couldn't see the sky. Yang Bo's mecha was over 30 meters above the sinkhole's surface.

Yang Bo searched carefully. The radar was ineffective against some mutants, and some mutants were sensitive to radar detection waves.

One hour, two hours.

Yang Bo began to feel anxious. How could so many people not be watching?

Just then, Yang Bo suddenly spotted a silver-white figure. Zooming in, he saw a person carrying the arm of a five-meter-long mecha. The thing weighed at least ten tons, yet the person, clad in black battle armor and standing nearly three meters tall, carried it with ease.

The man's face looked like a pig's face? It resembled the character Zhu Bajie portrayed by Xu Mou on Earth.

Then the second, third, fourth, and fifth individuals all carried mecha components—legs, arms, heads.

"Hmm. This mecha doesn't look cheap." Yang Bo muttered to himself.

Suddenly, a low rumbling sound echoed, and Yang Bo watched as the hornless wild bulls slowly gathered in one direction.

"What kind of technique is this? Beast control or conditioned reflex?" Yang Bo widened his eyes, noticing a mutant holding some sort of device and blowing into it.
