Felix messaged Kade the very next morning, right after picking up Vivi from Brielle.
Was he ready for that conversation? No, not really. But putting it off might only lead to an even bigger mess. Felix didn't know how often Eden contacted Kade, as he hadn't asked for any details regarding how Eden had spied on him. It wasn't all that important in the grand scale of things, and at that moment, when he had learned the truth, he simply hadn't wanted to listen to it any longer… But Eden's memories were altered now, so if Kade reached out to him, he would quickly realize that something was wrong… And after that, things might spiral out of control.
Rather than allow that to happen, and deal with the cleanup afterwards, it was better to act preemptively. So, Felix contacted Kade first.
