This was the first Five Kage Summit! Once you missed it, it was gone! It was just the Land of Wind, right? It was no big deal!
After going through the necessary procedures, the task of delivering the letter to the Land of Wind was assigned to Hiruzen's team.
However, the letter had to be collected from Tobirama.
Returning to his companions, Hiruzen waved the mission certificate in his hand. "Haha, I managed to snag the last mission!"
Upon hearing this, everyone smiled, as they had been worried that someone might have taken all the missions before them.
Now they could finally relax.
"Which country is it?" Koharu asked impatiently.
Hiruzen scratched his head. "It's the Land of Wind. Oh well, we arrived a bit late, so it was the only one left."
Hearing that it was the Land of Wind, everyone wasn't too surprised, as it was within their expectations.
Aside from the harsh environment, the Land of Wind wasn't a big deal, so of course it would be left for last.
"Land of Wind it is, then. Let's just think of it as a desert tour," Akimichi Torifu chimed in while eating snacks.
Akimichi Torifu wasn't one to dwell on things too much; he would go wherever everyone else went.
Koharu only complained a few times about her skin getting tanned, but didn't say anything else.
Overall, everyone was quite satisfied.
Unsurprisingly, this mission was also an S-rank mission.

Torifu was in a great mood. This S-rank mission could really be considered a freebie; completing it would add another sum of Peace Points to his account.
His current Peace Points were at 21900, which while not small, weren't big enough either.
After discussing for a while, they had a plan for their mission to the Land of Wind.
After all, the chances of encountering accidents along the way were not small, so it was better to be prepared to avoid being caught off guard.
After the discussion, Hiruzen said, "Then let's go get the letter from sensei first."
"Yeah, sensei should be in the office."
Subsequently, the group went to the Hokage's office to retrieve the letter they were to deliver, and also wanted to see what their teacher thought of their mission.
Arriving at the office door, the group knocked and entered.
Hashirama and Tobirama were both inside. Seeing the children arrive, they temporarily put aside their work.
"Why are you kids here?"
"Hokage-sama, we've accepted the mission to deliver the letter to the Land of Wind, and we're here to get the letter from sensei."
Hearing Hiruzen's words, Hashirama's face was filled with gratification. "Good, young people need to be tempered; only then can they become pillars of support."
Tobirama was naturally very happy as well, smiling as he took out a delicate wooden box from his chest and handed it to Hiruzen.
Then he patted him on the shoulder. "This contains the letter for the Kazekage; don't damage it."
Hiruzen gave a confident smile. "Don't worry, teacher, we're not kids anymore."
Hearing this, Hashirama and Tobirama were both stunned.
Yes, they were no longer children; they had become the mainstay of the village.
But whenever Tobirama saw Hiruzen, he would be reminded of the mischievous little monkey who would climb trees at the slightest opportunity.
"You are the future of Konoha, do your best!"
Hiruzen and the others nodded with a smile; this was the teacher's affirmation of their growth.
They had been training with their teacher for almost ten years.
It was hard and tiring, but they had gained a lot.
"Torifu, are you going too?" Hashirama asked, tilting his head.
"I don't have anything to do lately, and I happened to run into Hiruzen-aniki, so I'm going with them."
Hearing this, Hashirama sighed. "Well, there's no need to mention Naori; she's definitely going too."
"Why are you two so eager to go out and adventure? You're still just kids."
Sometimes Hashirama really had to admit that Torifu was simply stronger than most of the ninjas in the village.
He never let him worry when carrying out missions.
It was really infuriating to compare people; if Torifu grew up for a few more years, he would probably surpass him directly.
But this was also what Hashirama was happy to see; which teacher didn't want to see his disciple surpass him?
"Alright, alright, whatever you want. When are you planning to leave?"
Torifu looked at Hiruzen; after all, he was the captain, and he couldn't decide the team's departure time.
Hiruzen understood and immediately said, "Our plan is to leave the day after tomorrow morning, taking the road where we previously wiped out the bandits directly to the Land of Wind."
Hashirama pondered for a moment, then nodded. "Yeah, okay, you should be more familiar with that road."
Hiruzen briefly explained his plan to Hashirama and Tobirama, hoping the two leaders could help give some advice.
And so, the group stayed in the office for a while, and by the time Hashirama and Tobirama finished speaking, the sky was gradually turning dim.
"Haha, we've talked a bit too much today, you should go back quickly."
Hashirama and Tobirama had always valued the safety of these children.
Previously, difficult missions would be accompanied by strong ninjas.
And this time, they were relying entirely on themselves, so the two inevitably nagged a little, just like parents always worry about whether their children are dressed warmly enough.
"Then Hokage-sama, sensei, we'll go back first."
"Sensei, I'm going back too."
Hashirama waved his hand, indicating that they could leave.
Only then did the group leave the Hokage Building.
"Sensei is really worried about us."
Hiruzen thought for a moment. "After all, this is the first time we're carrying out an S-rank mission without anyone accompanying us."
"Now that we've successfully accepted the mission, I'll go back and tell Naori; she should still be waiting."
Kagami suddenly spoke, wanting to see what his companions would react, in order to judge whether or not to bring Naori on this mission.
"It's okay, this mission is only S-rank because it's of great significance; it's not that difficult, so don't worry too much."
Since Hiruzen had already spoken, the others naturally had no objections; after all, everyone had seen Naori's growth over the past year.
If she would really be a burden, everyone wouldn't let Naori come.
"Then everyone should disperse, go back to your respective homes, and get a good rest for a day."
The group nodded and left.
It was another long-distance mission, and this time Torifu had to bring enough food!
He definitely didn't want to eat soldier pills again.
So he started searching the streets and alleys for jerky and other foods that could be stored for a long time. Who knew how long this mission to the Land of Wind would take.
Everyone would definitely want to eat it when they saw it, so Torifu simply bought a portion for everyone and stored it in his ring.
Then, with a ring full of food, he went home contentedly.
After eating and tidying up, and also checking on the condition of the two little cranes, it was already dark.
Torifu also lay on the bed and started to sleep.
Torifu was very much looking forward to the trip to the Land of Wind the day after tomorrow.
