Alia sat in her room, silently for a long time after returning home. Her mind was filled with confusion, sorrow, and turmoil. The memories of the tension inside Victor's house and the events that had occurred there made her silently cry. She knew that the battle had begun, but there was an odd emptiness in her heart.
Just then, her father entered the room and sat next to her. "Alia, my dear, what happened?" he asked with concern in his voice.
Alia wiped her tears and, trying to speak, asked, "Father, do you know this Victor guy?"
Her father was a little surprised and replied, "How would I know him? Show me a picture."
Alia took her phone out and handed him a picture of Victor. After looking at the picture, her father widened his eyes and said, "This guy is no policeman. He's FSB spy."
Alia was stunned for a moment, her body feeling heavy. Her mind spun with confusion and fear. She felt faint, and everything around her went dark. Her father quickly caught her as she fainted and rushed her to the bed. After some time, Alia slowly regained consciousness in a strange and dimly lit room. Her father's concerned face was the first thing she saw.
"Father... is this true?" Alia asked, wiping her eyes.
Her father, visibly worried, replied, "Yes, Alia. I'm sure. Victor is indeed a spy, and his identity is a huge mystery for us. The danger you're in runs deep."
Alia sat silently for a moment. Questions filled her mind. Learning about Victor's secretive life made her fear and unease grow even more. But at the same time, strength and determination began to rise within her. She knew this new information would make her fight even harder, but she had to face it.
"What should I do now, Father?" Alia asked with new resolve, her voice filled with defiance.
Her father paused and said, "Your safety is the most important thing, Alia. We'll make plans from here, but you must stay firm in your decision about Victor. This war will take a new turn."
Alia nodded. "I know, Father. I'm no longer afraid. I will stand against him."
Her father, relieved, took her hand and said, "I'm proud of you, Alia. Your strength is remarkable. But remember, you're not alone. We are all here for you."
These words made Alia even more determined. She knew her next chapter had begun, and this fight wasn't just physical-it would be a test of her own confidence and courage.
At that moment, her Russian mother, Marina, slowly entered the room. Alia was surprised because she had never seen her mother so concerned. Marina quickly sat next to her, placed a hand on her head, and gently said, "Alia, дорогая, что с тобой?" (Alia, my dear, what's wrong with you?)
Alia, wiping her eyes, remained quiet for a moment but felt the warmth of her mother's presence. She responded in Russian, "Мама, я не знаю, что мне делать. Всё так сложно и страшно." (Mom, I don't know what to do. Everything is so complicated and scary.)
Marina tried to comfort her, but there was deep concern in her eyes. "Ты сильная, ты переживешь это. Мы пройдем через это вместе." (You are strong, you will get through this. We'll go through it together.)
Alia felt a little calmer after hearing her mother's words, but her mind was still occupied with thoughts of Victor and his mysterious world. She asked, "Мама, ты что-нибудь знаешь о Викторе?" (Mom, do you know anything about Victor?)
Marina paused, and after a moment of thought, she said, "Я знаю, что он не обычный человек. Его прошлое темное, и он работает не просто так. Ты должна быть осторожна." (I know he's not an ordinary man. His past is dark, and he's not here for simple reasons. You need to be careful.)
Alia felt even more afraid, but at the same time, a strange strength started to rise within her. She realized the danger surrounding Victor was even greater than she had imagined, and the longer she waited to understand the situation, the worse the threat would become.
"Спасибо, мама," (Thank you, mom) Alia said slowly, with a spark of strength in her eyes. "Я готова бороться." (I am ready to fight.)
Marina kissed her gently on the cheek and said, "Ты не одна, Alia. Мы все с тобой." (You are not alone, Alia. We are all with you.)
Alia knew now that she was not alone. Her mother, her father, and her own strength were her greatest assets.
After some time, Marina left, leaving Alia feeling both strong and determined. Her mother's comforting words filled her with new courage. Alia knew that her battle wasn't just external, but also one to regain her inner strength.
Later, her father came back into the room, looking at her seriously. "So, Alia, what did Victor say to you?"
Alia looked at her father, then spoke, "Father, Victor... Victor is a spy, and he shared a lot with me... but I don't know how to handle this."
Her father listened in surprise, then slowly said, "I know, Alia. What you've heard is tough. But think back to your past, Alia... that Victor, when you were a child, he used to carry you in his arms.Used to play You were just 15years old, and Victor was 16
These words caused a chill in Alia's body. She remembered how, as a child, Victor would lovingly carry her home, but now, the situation was completely different.
"Father..." Alia spoke with a trembling voice, "I didn't know... it could be so serious."
Her father, trying to comfort her, said, "What's important now is making the right decision. Remember, whatever happens, we're here for you."
He said more, but Alia sat silently, her head lowered. Her father, after a while, left, leaving her alone with her thoughts.
Alia stayed seated for some time, lost in her own thoughts and feelings. Victor's deep connection, his mysteries-everything about him made her feel uncomfortable and ashamed. But she knew that to escape this situation, she would have to rely on her own intelligence and courage.
She took a deep breath and realized that the next challenges were ahead, but she would move forward on her own terms. After her father left, Alia stood up, walked over to the window, and gazed outside. The night was still and silent, but within her, a new strength was rising. She thought to herself, "This is my time. I will walk my path, and no obstacle will stop me."
The next morning, Alia knew that a new day had arrived, but her mind was still disturbed by thoughts of Victor. Still, she decided to push those thoughts aside and go to a party. Her friend Ena had invited her several times, and she knew it would be good to spend time with friends.
At the party, Alia met Ena, who immediately noticed her distress. "What happened, Alia? You look drained, like something's wrong."
Alia smiled faintly and replied, "No, it's nothing. Everything's fine." But her eyes and face revealed something deeper that she couldn't hide.
Ena could sense something was off, but she didn't press her. With a grin, she said, "Well, I'm glad. I was worried about you. By the way, I'm doing really well. Happy with my husband."
Alia was a bit surprised. She knew things were going well in Ena's life, but hearing this made her reflect. She couldn't help but think about Victor's actions and the weight of everything she was going through.
"Congrats," Alia said with a soft smile. "You're doing great."
Ena looked at her carefully and then said, "You're thinking about something, aren't you? I can tell you're not alright. You need to talk."
Alia took a deep breath and replied, "No, it's nothing. I'm fine."
Ena thought Alia was hiding something, but didn't push further. She joined in the party fun, and Alia, although still a little unsettled, tried to push her inner thoughts aside and focus on the moment.
Soon, Ena's husband came over to Alia, noticing something was off. "Alia, what's going on?" he asked with concern.
Alia forced a smile and said, "I'm fine, everything's fine. How about you?"
But in her eyes, there was a trace of unease. She knew he could see through her, but she didn't want to bring it up.
And then, Victor entered the party. His presence immediately made Alia uncomfortable. As soon as he walked in, her heart raced, and anxiety took over. She knew this wasn't a casual appearance-Victor's entry was another dark reminder of the shadows in her life.
Victor slowly walked toward her, and Alia realized she was trapped. There was no way out of this situation, no way to escape. She had to face him, and she knew that this confrontation would only deepen the conflict.
Alia tried to make her way to the washroom to avoid Victor. But as she attempted to move, he caught up with her and coldly said, "Where are you going, princess?"
This made Alia flinch. Fear and unease flooded her, but she gathered her courage and replied, "I just want to be alone for a moment."
Victor stared at her for a second, as though he knew she couldn't control herself anymore. Then, with a cold smile, he said, "You're not going anywhere, princess."
Alia understood that she had to remain calm and composed. But to free herself from Victor, she would need a new strategy.
