Chapter 15 - Ambiguous Treatment, Shy Ye Ruoyi

Hearing the quiet discussion outside the door, Jiang Che couldn't help but smile.

If these guys dared to covet him, he wouldn't hesitate to kill them all!

After Sikong Qianluo helped Ye Ruoyi back to her room, Jiang Che instructed her to lie down on the bed.

"Qianluo, you may leave now."

"Don't let anyone else in while I'm diagnosing her," he added with a faint smile.

"Oh…"

"Brother Jiang, you must heal Ruoyi!"

"Don't worry…"

After receiving Jiang Che's reassuring words, Sikong Qianluo took one last look at Ye Ruoyi lying on the bed, then quietly exited the room.

"City Lord Jiang…"

"What do you need me to do to assist?"

Once Sikong Qianluo was gone, Ye Ruoyi broke the silence, her voice filled with curiosity.

"It's simple. Just lie still and don't move."

"Miss Ye, forgive me," Jiang Che said softly as he stepped closer and placed his hand gently on her abdomen.

With his mind focused, he activated the Wood Spirit Energy within him, directing it toward healing her congenital heart condition.

"City Lord Jiang, you…"

As the treatment began, Ye Ruoyi's pale cheeks flushed with a tinge of red. This was the first time she had been touched by a man in such a way.

Even with a layer of fabric between them, she could feel her heartbeat quicken.

But she knew he was helping her, so she held back any objections.

"Hmm…"

As the Wood Spirit Energy continued to flow through her body, Ye Ruoyi felt a warm sensation spread from her chest outward. She couldn't help letting out a soft hum.

Realizing what she'd done, she quickly covered her mouth and buried her face into the pillow, embarrassed.

Jiang Che took a deep breath and silently recited a calming mantra to steady his mind, suppressing any distracting thoughts. He then fully focused on the treatment.

A lone man and a woman in such an intimate situation…

If not for the mantra, Jiang Che feared he might lose control—after all, he was still a young man full of vigor.

A quarter of an hour later, Jiang Che finally withdrew his hand from Ye Ruoyi's abdomen.

"It's done. Miss Ye, your heart condition has been completely healed."

"Just rest for a few days and you'll fully recover."

Exhaling deeply, Jiang Che looked a bit fatigued. Treating Ye Ruoyi had taken a fair amount of spiritual energy, but a short rest would be enough to replenish it.

"Thank you, Brother Jiang…"

Ye Ruoyi's eyes softened, and her tone was gentle as she reached for a handkerchief and wiped the sweat from his forehead.

Jiang Che raised a hand, about to respond with a polite remark, when suddenly a notification echoed in his mind:

"Ding, host has completed the first healing task. Reward: 500 points."

"Ding, new task issued: Become a renowned doctor by healing over a thousand difficult cases."

"Task reward: 10 bottles of Phoenix Blood."

Phoenix Blood?

Phoenix Blood Pills?

Seeing the system's prompt, Jiang Che's heart leapt with excitement.

Immortality… is within reach!

With Phoenix Blood and his knowledge of alchemy, achieving immortality would no longer be a dream—it would be a certainty.

With his God-Tier medical skills, these so-called difficult illnesses were mere child's play.

The only challenge now was finding enough patients.

But since the task had no time limit, there was no need to rush.

"Miss Ye, you've just recovered from a major illness, so you need to rest. I'll take my leave for now."

"I'll have Sikong Changfeng prepare some nourishing medicinal soup for you later."

"I still have a few matters to attend to."

"Brother Jiang, take care…"

After watching him leave, Ye Ruoyi lay back down, her body still tired despite the healing. She was eager for proper rest.

She slipped off her shoes and socks, climbed back under the covers, and quickly drifted off to sleep.

"How is she?"

"Is Ruoyi alright?"

As soon as Jiang Che stepped out of the room, he was met with Sikong Changfeng's anxious gaze.

It was clear how deeply he cared for Ye Ruoyi—like a father watching over his own daughter.

"As expected, she's healed."

"She just needs a few days of rest to make a full recovery."

"Please prepare some restorative medicine for her."

"Of course! That's no trouble at all!"

"I'll go tell Brother Ye the good news right away!"

With Jiang Che's confirmation, Sikong Changfeng's face lit up in joy. With a quick word of thanks, he hurried off.

Once he left, Jiang Che turned to bid farewell to Bai Li Dongjun and the others, then made his way quickly toward Snow Moon City's Scripture Pavilion.

After all, his original purpose for joining Snow Moon City was to obtain martial arts manuals from that very place.
