Private Conference Room
Seated at the head of the table was Samuel Ashford, and to his right was Diana, and beside her was Lucas. The remaining seats were occupied by the shareholders of the company.
Samuel cleared his throat and said, "Since this was not a planned meeting, I will just get to the point. My father had given my first son, Gael Ashford, the CEO role of this company despite him having no knowledge of this company. Gael may be my son, but his ignorance has already been made clear by returning a half-billion investment from the Barrington group."
"But should we consider his decision a mistake? If Gael had not returned the investment back to them, then the Barrington downfall would have affected our stock. And so far, I can't say he has made any mistake in handling the Ashford group; in fact, he immediately found a way to replace their investment, making sure the project will not be affected in any way." A shareholder said.
