''That's it! I am going to tell the King about this!''
Martha's hands were held back by Vivie, who gazed at her in horror.
''Are you crazy?'' Vivie asked her as her hands remained on Martha.
''Yes, I am. Especially when it comes to my mistress. It's been hours now, and the queen has yet to let her be. It's not right, and she could die from this easily because she's still just human.''
Vivie scoffed at her in disbelief while still refusing to let go. ''Fine, alright. You go tell the king that we first allowed the queen in here without trying to stop her, and then we all sat back and watched as the queen punished her for hours until we decided to do something about it. And then what happens? You will be staked first before anything happens to the queen.''
Martha hated that Vivie was right. She forcefully removed her hands from her hold to bite down hard on her lower lip, hating this situation more than anybody.
